Bobby Mac's is on the water. In my view, that is a feather in anybody's cap. You cannot go wrong with the water at your side. Their views inside were also very nice. Ample windows to take in the breathtaking views, and ample seating to enjoy them. As I walked in, I noticed the bar to the right, with a cash register near by on the counter. The seating ahead and to the left. The lady I thought was the bartender, later seemed to be just another waitress. At least at lunch time they didn't have a designated bartender. This I didn't really notice until later when I actually ordered a drink. I sat in a booth, one over from the window booth, but still had an excellent view. The problem I had with the ambiance was the volume. Because it was a room lacking ceiling tiles, drapes, or other tapestries, there was no place for sound to be absorbed. The televisions were not loud, and the place not crowded at all, yet sitting across from my mother, I had to ask her several times to repeat herself, and her me, because of the din. The wait staff was very pleasant, attentive, and friendly. When I did order a daiquiri, and was informed it was a mix, I requested a specific drink mixed. When it came out it was tasty, but based on what I ordered, there volume I received, and the taste, I don't think they got it correct. However, like I said, it was tasty. I ordered the oven baked whitefish, with rice and coleslaw. The coleslaw had a nice consistency; being not too creamy, nor too vinegary, but it was lacking something in flavor. I like cabbage, so I did enjoy it, but it was lacking a zing... Garlic, Dijon, vinegar... Not sure. The fish and rice were served in good time, came out as a pleasant plate presentation, and was delightful. Compliments to the chef! The prices were also reasonable, and as I have said, the wait staff, very polite and friendly. Honestly, if it wasn't for the sound problem, I would have given this five stars, based on what it is, and what it serves. And that's how I rate these places; based upon what they offer, and how it's presented and tastes. I'd go back again, though I hope they do something about their acoustics in the near future

We just dined here and oh boy. The food was NOT worth the prices. It cost $120 to eat here for 3 people. 3 people… our server was very sweet but I think just having an off night and the managers did fix our issues but I would not come back. I got the shrimp bowl and my shrimp was all mixed in with the tail still on so I had to go through and peel the tail off with the sauce and everything on the shrimp and my shrimp texture was like trying to eat the fat and gristle on a steak, totally gross if you’re a texture person I ate three bites and did not take it home. Spend your money and time elsewhere. The only reason I’d give this place 2 stars because the waitress was super sweet and the managers handled our issues with professionalism and understanding otherwise this place would get a one star. We also witnessed multiple tables having to go in and ask for their things. I’m not sure if the work load is too much on the servers because it was NOT busy at all so there was no reason anyone should have gone to ask for things or clear their own tables or get drinks (I witnessed all of these things happening) and I saw all the serves (I think there was 4 for a total table count of 10 max when we were there) run around everywhere. And that also tells me this isn’t a place I would work at either. So if you’re looking for a place to eat or work this is NOT the place! The view was nice tho.

Great place, great view, and a meal that absolutely hit the spot. We stopped in for dinner and were seated by the window overlooking the water—can’t beat that kind of setting. It made the entire dining experience feel relaxed and scenic, perfect for a quiet night out. I had the lobster and shrimp ravioli, and it was outstanding. The pasta was fresh and tender, the filling was rich and flavorful, and the sauce brought it all together without being too heavy. You could really taste the seafood—nothing artificial or overdone, just quality ingredients cooked right. My wife went with the asiago crusted walleye, which came with a side of asparagus. The fish had a perfect golden crust, flaky and moist on the inside, and the asparagus was fresh and well-seasoned. She absolutely loved it, and I stole a few bites to confirm it was just as good as it looked. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our drinks stayed full, and the food came out hot and fast. We finished off with a gorgeous view and that ā€œwe’ll definitely be backā€ feeling. If you’re in the area and want a quality meal with a peaceful waterfront atmosphere, this place is a must.

I was there with a friend on Sunday. The utter confusion at the hostess stand was a cross between amusing and sad. The empty booth that was finally cleaned 10 minutes later had a great view of the lake. After 10 minutes (yes I timed it) without seeing a server, I asked a random server if we could order drinks. A few minutes later, our server finally showed up. That was only one of the three times we would see her. The menu was impressive....on paper. The French Onion Soup was very good! I had to eat it with a teaspoon. I asked for a soup spoon after it was served to me and I was told "all of them are dirty". Let's just stop right there for a minute. Re-read that last part. How long does it take to wash a soup spoon? Exactly. The servers had no shame whatsoever in just leaving it at that which means management has totally given up. My companion asked about a salad before the main course and was told her only option was coleslaw. Imagine her surprise as many salads walked by during our long wait for our main course. The cod dinner she ordered put an odd look on her face, she told me she thought it was the tartar sauce... it wasn't. The fish was mushy and bland. So sad. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was good! The pasta was ok...The sauce was a bad attempt by an apprentice chef. The refill of my soft drink, after being empty for 10 minutes came at the end of our meal. We lingered a bit in the parking lot before leaving and overheard two other parties that were less than impressed. Here's the deal.. This place survives solely on its legacy of being fine dining. When passing the McDonalds on the way home I...
