Placed an order for carryout around 5pm. Ordered southwest burger deluxe well done, 3 sliders with American cheese w/fries, a not so slim Jim with onion rings, a cup of french onion soup, and off the hook nachos supreme. My daughter's fries were forgotten and so was the French onion soup. The server I dealt with was Kayla H according to the receipt. Don't know who cooked. The southwest burger was supposed to be well done, as you'll see in the photos, well done means red inside I guess... Complete fail. The only way I talked my wife into trying this place was the soup that they forgot. Picking the food up was a trip as well, figuratively and literally. 15 miles round trip. And when I got there, the bartender barely even paid any attention to me as she was completely caught up in conversation with a group of 5-6 patrons who were talking about throwing people out of there chairs and fighting in the parking lot. Glad I didn't bring my daughter with me. The language was pretty foul. Didn't know people were getting that drunk at dinner. Sign on door says please wear a mask if physically possible, yet not a single person other than myself had one. Including employees. I called to see if they could just refund the money for the forgotten items and they told me no. That they would give me comp drinks on my next visit... I've lived in the area for ten years and this is my second time visiting this establishment. The first time being completely honest, was wonderful. I still remember the woman who we dealt with last time, wish she was here this time. My bill with tip was $50. I should've went to Catch 22 instead....
Read moreGreat service and great food. Some of the best fish I've had in quite a while. It reminded me of the whitefish you get up north.
So I went in here after a little cruise down 29, and I was looking for a bar/restaurant to charge my phone. So I walk in and the place was packed. Therefore, I sat at the bar and drank a beer. I then ordered 6 wings, half kentucky bourbon and half bbq. I then ordered the walleye and red skinned potatoes. All of this was very good. Reasonably priced too. For the wings, fish, potatoes and 2 beers, my bill came out to just around 25 dollars. Not bad at all if the food is decent. One thing that I did not like was the fact they brought out my wings (appetizer) at the same time as my fish (dinner), which I generally despise. But overall, the delicious food and great service certainly outweighed the flaw of bringing all the food out at the same time. I would totally recommend trying this place, if ever...
Read moreWe've been coming here for years. This was the first time the food was horrible. The advertised special-of-the-day chicken wrap (blackened) was ordered, along with the always wonderful Po' Boy. What happened to the food today? The food came out of the kitchen, however the waitress sent my wrap back for some reason. At the same time, the "special" wrap was erased from their menu board. I was told it would be a few minutes for my plate to come out. When I did receive it, the wrap was so tiny! (I'm glad there were fries.) I took a first bite, and the chicken was rubbery, and it felt uncooked (which it wasn't). And it definitely was not blackened; I'm not sure what flavor I received. There wasn't much chicken and it tasted bland (and rubbery). The Po' Boy has always been good, but this time, it was very weird tasting. We took half home, but threw it away this morning. Very disappointed with everything except...
