A&W — Restaurant in Iron Mountain

I go here every couple of years, because our eye Dr. is located in the area. We live out in K. I. Sawyer, so it's a bit of a long drive, otherwise we'd eat there at least once a month as a treat. The food has always been excellent and the servers always seemed genuinely happy and banter with coworkers and us. It's a fun environment :) If you're in the area (Iron Mt., MI) try their Spicy Papa Burger, the best non-homemade burger I've had from a dine-in restaurant in years! Thank you! Oh and don't forget to ring the bell by the door on your way out, it said: Ring this bell if your visit was swell! I thought that sign was cute, my son rang it, he loved the corn dog bites experience, we've never seen them before, he said they were genius I agree, now I'm going to have to make my own...

Ordered at the stall a couple days ago. Ordered a burger, fries, onion rings and 2 root beer floats. A half hour later I had to hit the buzzer again because our food wasn’t to the car to ask for it to be to go because of the wait. The guy went into order taking mode because it had been so long (I’m assuming). 10 minutes later it showed up. Food was warm, not hot…but the floats were the biggest disappointment. Each float got 1/2 scoop of ice cream. It was straight up root beer with not much else. Onion rings and fries were overcooked to the point you didn’t taste the potato or the onion, just a crunchy batter. The burger tasted like a traditional gas station burger, in fact Kwik Trip’s burger is better. Definitely not worth the wait and was way over priced for...

Food was what you expect from a fast food place. Service was slow for just our table.in the room. 3 people standing behind the counter talking while we were waiting for our order to be taken. Food came out, warm not hot. Pizza burger had little to no flavor. Would be better to just get something from the regular combos. A family came in with a screaming toddler and were yelling at each other (2 adults and their 3 kids). It was so bad we couldn't stay for ice cream as we intended. Too small of a space for that much screaming and...
