Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Irvine

My wife prepaid a mobile order for pickup at 5:15pm. She placed the order at 4pm. When I arrived, the order wasn’t ready. I waited 15 minutes. Defeats the purpose of preordering.

Also, when I arrived, the cashier wanted me to sign a credit card receipt for the card my wife used to prepay the order. This card is in my wife’s name, and it’s not legal for me to sign it. And once again, it defeats the purpose of a faster preordering process. I believe this Pizza Hut store is doing this to solicit tips for prepaid carry-out orders. There was a tip line on the receipt she printed. If this is the case, this is soooooo annoying. Now we have to tip for pickup orders? Do I need to tip the pharmacist too when I pick up prescriptions? Tipping is getting out of control, especially in a state like California that has one of the highest minimum wages in...

Horrible customer service, cheap operator. I went there to pick up my pizza today, and I politely asked if I can have couple packets of crushed peppers, the staff member said no sorry we sell those for $1.75. I didn’t have my wallet at the time so I said never mind and I started walking out then I noticed a crash pepper shaker sitting on every table, I decided to add some of the crushed pepper on top of my pizza before walking out, but then the employee told me sorry that I can’t do that because these are for dining only and she will have to charge me for that if I use it. I have never had worse experience before and I have never heard of any pizza place that they don’t offer crash pepper with their pizza. I will never go back to that...

I live 10 minutes away from this store and have ordered here many times. Last time they didn't make my pizza right and offered a store credit. Today when I tried to use it, not only did they not honor the credit, the manager flat out said "we don't have any record of you ever ordering here before so I can't help you". It's one thing to not want to keep your word for store credit and another to just not have basic customer centric approach.
