OMG this is the best Mexican food in Midlothian. If you haven't tried it, you need to soon. They have a special most days, (my favorite are the chicken enchiladas) and it happens to be the Monday Special. My family and I have been eating here regularly ever since we discovered this place. It's where the steak and shake used to be located. Their green hot sauce is excellent, the breakfast burritos are all great, and I just discovered yesterday, that their crunchy tacos are super delicious (they fried the taco shells yum!) I love this place so much! The food is always a 10 ! I usually get the tacos de tripa dorada and fajita sopes. I went on a Monday morning and got some menudo and it was delicious! They also give you homemade corn tortillas on the side 🔥My husband likes to get the gorditas and sopes de tinga and fajita. When we last went he tried chilaquiles rojos and those were good too. The menudo was hot, with lots of flavor and full of tripe and hominy. The tortillas were fresh and fantastic! Carne asada tacos were ok, but the meat had a weird seasoning that I am not used to, but still good. The only true disappointment was the Horchata. It was really, really sweet and had no flavor. Pretty much tasted like watered down milk with a ton of sugar and a splash of cinnamon. Bleeeeeccch!!
