El Jefe cocina mexicana — Restaurant in Irving

I wish there was a NO STAR option! A group of us came to TX for a flag football tournament and wanted to try some tacos. Found this place online, looked up the hours and since they didn't close til 10pm on Saturdays, it was perfect. We pulled out our GPS and all followed one another there. GPS says, "you've arrived" we look around... NO FOOD TRUCK IN SITE. It was nowhere near 10pm so we were all in disbelief that we drove way over there for nothing. So we drove a little further looking around to see if maybe they were possibly somewhere around...nope! HIGHLY aggravated due to the fact that we picked a food truck to avoid the long waits all the nearby restaurants were having, only to find, no truck. My husband and I came into town on business from Detroit. The pictures from other's reviews brought us to this amazing little truck. Everyone we encountered was very sweet and personable and the food was wonderful! Did not disappoint!! Birria tacos are all the rage back home and I had never had them before now.
