I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years. I’ve brought my family and several friends here because I’ve always enjoyed the food and service. However, I’ve had two issues over the years—both with the fried bananas. The second time, they were extremely greasy and burnt.
When I called to let the restaurant know, I was surprised and disappointed to be told that they would no longer serve me because I had made a second complaint. After years of being a supportive and consistent customer, I feel this was a very unreasonable and disappointing way to handle honest feedback.
It’s unfortunate to lose a longtime customer over something that could have easily been addressed with better customer service.

We ordered the tostadas and the puposa with pork cheese and beans. Delivered by the family member serving the food, we were amazed by the bursts of flavor and the pretty presentation was like icing on the cake. They provide a varied menu for lunch as well as an assortment of interesting baked goods which are prepared daily in the kitchen. Great food, but the staff is dishonest at best - or racist. They don't speak English when I order, but I've overheard them speaking English for phone orders. They take 10+ minutes to prepare my order while filling orders of people who came in after me.
