We were staying in the area and decided to check out this new restaurant that had just opened, and honestly, we were not disappointed. The hostess greeted us with a warm smile, and our server, Dago, was super knowledgeable and friendly. He came right over to introduce himself, thanked us for coming, and brought us water without rushing us. The menu looked great, and when we made our choices, the food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. We had a shrimp allergy at the table, and Dago took it very seriously, making sure it was noted in the system. The manager even came out to recommend safe options, which made the experience feel very personal despite the large size of the restaurant. The bartender was amazing too, mixing drinks that were consistently delicious. Overall, we give this place a 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back when we’re in the area again. If you get a chance, you should check it out and ask for Dago—he’ll take great...
Read moreWent this past Friday Night, place was not busy at all, which is a shame. I know it's still new, so hopefully the locals catch on. This was originally supposed to be a Moxie's, but they changed it to the Tavern, which actually probably works best here. We had 6 in our party. Place is super cool, warm, cozy, staff was attentive, and manager stopped by several times. Food & drinks were on point. Everyone loved their meals. Only one complaint. I have a gluten allergy, which the staff did note. They do seem to take it seriously which I appreciate. I only ordered items labeled (gc) from the menu and checked with the staff to make sure they were okay for me. Unfortunately, I did still get a bit sick. Assuming some sort of cross contamination, or maybe I was served something I shouldn't have. But look, great place, you should definitely go. It's a welcome addition to...
Read moreStopped in for a light dinner while staying at a nearby hotel for work. It felt like they understand the idea of delighting your customer in each moment and doing things with a little flair. Importantly to me, it gave upscale but very down to earth.
Was warmly greeted, escorted to the bar (my seating choice) and given a menu. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and later proactive in correcting an error on my bill before she presented it.
Even the person who walked up to offer a small bread item (free) did it with flair. Then my food arrived. Got the birria tacos and sweet potato fries, and they were perfectly done. Was given two sauces for the fries, again without asking.
Can't honestly find anything to suggest they do differently - will be back when staying at that hotel in the future. Do yourself a favor...
