Heard a game of bingo as I was waiting for my flight. Walked down and noticed people (all white) playing bingo, wanted to join , bartender said no and the kitchen was about to close. No biggie, ill get a drink. I started speaking with two older gentleman sitting at the bar, friendly conversation. Bartender was being a bartender âwhat do you want?â, got my drink and was able to get a fish taco (left a $5 tip). As I found myself a seat, everyone was watching me and my husband. My husband is cutie but damn these werenât eyes of admiration, these were tense looks that didnât make us feel comfortable. This lady who looked like Al Bundyâs wife, just wouldnât stop staring!! Until I gave her the classic smile and hello đ Now seeing brown people isnât some rare sighting, yâall literally live in Puerto Rico. But this bar definitely gives off a âyour not welcomedâ vibe. Fish taco had a piece of hair in it. I like to hope it was an eyelash but my husband swears it was too thick to be an eyelash. We left after that⌠Food was a 1 (I did have a bite, it was okay but that hair was a bad) Service was a 2 (again all he did was ask for my order and tell me bingo was closed) Atmosphere was a -100 (I wish I could give...

He said it all to his regular bar guests and said it loud enough for us to hear him on purpose. We decided to walk away instead of giving him...

Being that he is not from the island nor was actively speaking the language and also the fact that the people who were seated at his bar were all Americans who looked and spoke just like him sent the clear message that locals of brown skin were not welcome. Hit him where it hurts and donât give this guy business. Send the message that they canât come to our island and treat...
