One of the worst eateries on campus. After hundreds of visits to the DLG, I have noticed that the chef's there seem to put little thought into the food they make. The food is certainly not worth paying 12 dollars per meal for. On one occasion, I found what appeared to be a foreign eyebrow in my bowl of rice. The asian food that they attempt to make is rarely edible and the salad often contains lettuce with red spots on it indicating that it is nearly spoiled. My least favorite part of DLG, is the food that they choose to serve. The food made there rarely panders to a lot of people. You will notice a long line for the nights when good food is served but that Is close to only once a month. Sometimes I go to DLG and can't find a single thing that I would like to eat because they occasionally even make the beans too watery. I would say I end up settling for beans and rice 4+ times a week. The most regularly edible meals you can regularly find there are beans and rice, char burgers and French fries. The pizza that DLG makes is unique to say the least. It is often made with multiple toppings and I can only imagine the amount of it that gets thrown away every day. The staff looks particularly unhappy. I have never been there and had a positive experience with any server. The cleanliness of the DLG is tolerable. Overall DLG receives a 1 star rating for it's less than satisfactory food, price, lines, staff, and...
Read moreThe food is always great but one worker ruined the experience today. I didn’t know this but there’s actually a limit to the amount of entrées you can get at this place. I tried getting another pork rib and the server said I couldn’t have anymore that I “had too many already”. I’ve never had this at any other diner and it’s really unfortunate to have to be denied food at a supposedly “all you can eat”...
Read moreThe De La Guerra Dining commons are pretty okay, in regards to the food. It's certainly one of the dining commons I like more, but the main selling point is the late night dining option that's available. Even if you aren't really hungry, going to late night is worth it because at that hour food just hits your soul instead of your stomach. Their desserts can be...
