Divine. My UCSB conference host gave me 5 night stay and I so loved every moment at the Guest House. Beautifully appointed room, comfortable bed and bedding. Easy access to all my sessions—and also the Pacific Ocean beach. A joy! Lunch at The Club was outstanding. I so appreciate the renewed energy I have, where often such travel for my work where logistics are challenging can be the exact opposite.

This is An on campus hotel for Conferences. No amenities basic but clean spacious location. No air-conditioning, ceiling, fan and windows open for the great ocean breeze that is effective. I imagine there’s heat for the winter but did not use it. In room, refrigerator and all the basic hotel stuff.

Stayed here for a lovely fraternity parents weekend. Close to IV so we could walk and meet up with our son and his friends. We parked in the garage, then wheeled our bags over to The Club. Felt like we were oldest kids on campus! Great time.

I stayed here for a two day conference. The room was nice, but as far as I could tell, there is no a/c. There is a ceiling fan, but I was glad that I stayed there in February, not August (the conference rooms definitely had a/c; we tried to get them to turn it down for two days, but no luck). The location is great--there's a nice loop around a lagoon, and every room comes with binoculars. However, once you've check out of your room, which I had to do the second morning of the conference, there's no place to sit down and get a little work done. I skipped one of the conference session because I had to deal with some email. Since it was after 1pm, I thought I could just work in the dining room, but the staff kicked me out "in case they needed the tables for guests." Well, all of the guests were back in their conference rooms. I ended up working in the lobby. So, convenient if you need to be on campus, but nothing extraordinary when it comes to providing a good meeting...

Hope to change opinion in the next few days, but for the moment, I am very disappointed! Paying such a high rate, I was expecting rooms being bit better than this. Hotels around here, with pool and other service, cost less! I choose it because of the location on the campus (visiting my daughter), but would not do it again. Room is at a ground floor, nice location, very close to the lagoon and to the ocean, but passersby can see inside the room, unless you close down the blind completely. Room and toilet are clean, but feels like a basic, cheap motel. There is no toilet brush, nothing to warm up water, tv is not working, and is not clear how to switch on heating in the room. There is a coffee maker with coffee and tea (not clear how you can make tea though), but no complementary biscuits, which could be appreciated considering that there is no breakfast service in the restaurant. Overall, very...

Great place to hold meetings and events. The open patio used for meals and snacks overlooks a great view that is relaxing. Great pathway for walking and running. Room is very clean. Bed is so comfortable together with very soft pillows. Towels are sparkling white. The full setup and quality of the room is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The one star missing accounts for the windows and air conditioning. Cooling comes from overhead and portable fans and option to open windows. However, by opening windows, the bed is visible from outside. By raising the blinds, one is also visible from outside. Possibly tint windows? Also need guest instructions for water, ice availability, access to areas, provide maps and local dining options in the rooms. Otherwise, staff are attentive and I give them a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. An experience...
