Isla Vista Food Cooperative — Local services in Isla Vista

This is my go to grocery store. The produce is amazing fresh and lasts long. They also carry small packaged items that are great for day trips or toddlers. We also get some of their bulk fig bars and musli. It is one of the few places you can get good oat milk. The prices are extremely comparable to other grocery stores, I have checked!

The only downside is that their meat selection is limited, pricey, and usually not worth the buy. I can get organic meat elsewhere. Also, while they have a great selection of natural bathroom products I always can't find exactly what I'm looking for at the right price.

I go there more than once a week. My child loves...

They have the best selection of healthy foods and offer local, organic, paleo, and auto-immune supporting items for those going sugar free, grain free, etc. Currently, the management has excelled in making the space safe with Covid protocols as well. Shop here if you want to live. Cancer is prevalent, and linked strongly to the trash in today's food supply. The staff is slow turnover, thankfully, and often remember my name or face. Despite the large population of international students in the area, they manage to keep prices relatively low. I cannot find some of the products they sell here anywhere but Amazon.
