BEST freaking lox and bagel 🥯 I’ve ever had! I’m hooked. Slightly obsessed. Long term addicted. My only concern is where the hell has this been all my life?? I’m 3rd generation local to SB, and growing up in this bagel badlands wasteland in the 90s, didn’t know what a proper bagel was until I went to the east coast a couple summers ago …. Fell into a mild carb depression upon return from my trip because where oh where was I gonna get my fix? Turns out: Yetz. The bagels are made with love. Pure passion. You can taste it. Yes, they’re boiled and seasoned and all the right things. But the difference you can taste is that someone cares enough to perfect the craft of baking them to crispy outer perfection with doughy, pillowy air pockets of texture. Stuff this with the whipped chive cream cheese, capers, red onions (the perfect amount), fresh tomatoes, and a generous portion of smoked lox? Yep. I’m a fan for life. I recently hired Yetz's Bagels to cater my Mom's Celebration of Life, and boy, am I glad I did! They made the event so fabulous! Daniel, the owner, is a joy to work with. He's so kind, so efficient, responsive, and easy to work with. He obviously loves what he does, and is proud of his food, as he should be. We had 100 people, and the portions were very generous, and everyone raved about the food. We did 7 dozen bagels, potato salad, and his Grandmother's famous egg salad. It was simply incredible! He delivered it, which made it so easy as I was scrambling that day, and just was so generous! I have worked with other caterers who just don't take the care that Daniel does. He takes so much pride in his business, and it really shows! I highly recommend using Daniel to cater any event, the food is a crowd pleaser, his bagels are the best, and he is really incredible! Bo and Carlos, the employees when I went were super chill. Pulled an all-nighter so I could go right when they opened. I got an everything bagel with plain shmear and i took an onion bagel with chive to-go. Both were incredibly delicious. Both the employees were super kind and got my order to me quick. I highly recommend the chive shmear it's delicious. I took a bite of the onion bagel and shed a tear. Even after walking home in the cold, the bagel was warm and soft on the inside with a perfectly crisp exterior. I will never go to IV...
