First time ever going here on a whim and I am very disappointed.. first impression when I walked in was the girl at the register didn’t care at all about being there and wasn’t very friendly. I ordered a beef and cheese fries, the beef was so dry and rubbery and the cheese wasn’t even melted and it was just so bland. Cheese fries were greasy as can be and the cheese was terrible. Also they had kids running around in the back by the food and grills. I’m sure the health dept would not approve of that.. definitely will not be...

Bellalukes of Island Lake is a typical hot dog, Pizza, Italian beef joint. You can eat in or get your food to go but there's limited seating to eat in. The prices are fair and they have daily specials along with all the typical appetizers, sides, and other food fare you would expect at a place like this. The food is always good but not great. So we've been ordering from here for over 15 years, never had a bad experience in all that time. This last time, about 3 weeks ago, my jaw dropped! Everything was changed! The Onion rings, dripping in grease and no longer battered.
