Culver’s — Restaurant in Island Lake

I live in the area and have been going Culver’s for years, and I can honestly say the Island Lake location is the best Culver’s around due to their staff, specially: Mark Walsh, Devin Parsons, Jake Lewis, Jakob Whitt, Dino, and Dawn. The staff must pride themselves for their high levels of customer service because whenever me and my family come here we are always greeted with smiles, pleasant conversation, and respect. In addition to being kind employees, they also make great food, and they really take their time on the Lemon Ice Cooler, which is a menu item I have come to love. This is at least the 6th time we have ordered from here and we have been missing food. Not just one item either. Kids meals, adult meals half our family is without food tonight and my husband has to drive back to the restaurant. I understand times are tough but enough is enough. The managers at the store have always been accommodating with scoopie tokens, ice cream and giving us the correct food. My husband contacted the owner Dean this evening because we have had it. He was rude and had no compassion on making things right. He supposedly owns 5 culvers. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. I hope Dean treats his employees better than...

The drive-through cashier was not friendly and seemed to think he was doing me a big favor by taking my order. Then he got the order wrong - I ordered onion rings with one of the meals and got cheese curds (whatever that is) instead - even though he repeated the order back to me. They don't give you the receipt until they deliver the food to the car, so with a bag-full of food, there's no real chance to check whether the order is right until after you drive away.
