Porch Restaurant and Pub — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Atmosphere is ok. Service was bad. Food was cool not warm nor hot. Duck was supposed to be medium rare but it was RARE with a broken sauce. First ones to be seated but last to receive our food. Once we got our food, I can say it was not what is listed on the menu. Another employee made a comment about the mussel and frits dish, stating that it looks like something her toddler would make. That is from an employee! I would have to agree because it's muscles with french fries in a milk bath.

If you have patience to wait over an hour for your cool not hot food then you're in the right place. Waitress/bartender shows no compassion at all for forgetting our food while she served other guests that came in WAY AFTER us. They ate and left while we were still waiting for our food.

I strongly suggest they get professional hospitality management training and a new chef or correct their menu to match what they actually serve.

Very first and very last experience ever at this "restaurant/pub". Highly NOT...

This was our first time there and we had such a mediocre experience. The establishment was dingy and outdated carpeting and woodwork.

It took 5 minutes for the hostess to greet us, and ushered us downstairs to their "pub" section of the establishment. We didn't get menus for another 10mins and orders taken for another 10 after that. The entire night was slow. After I received my appetizers, it took another 40 mins to receive my entrée.

I ordered the chicken breast served with spinach and mashed potatoes. Both were bland and flavorless. The mashed potatoes were a thick starchy mess, and the quality of the chicken wasn't that great either. I didn't bother to finish my meal as it was extremely lackluster. For 19$ I expected a lot more out of my meal.

For the quality of the food, everything was definitely way overpriced. If it weren't for the live music, the whole night would have been a dud. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a good...

I recently visited Porch Restaurant & Pub and was pleasantly surprised. Although the place isn't very large, its cozy atmosphere and rustic decor create a perfect setting for enjoying a good meal. They also have outdoor seating, which is great for enjoying the fresh air. The service was exceptional; our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

The food, made fresh to order, was definitely one of the highlights of the experience. We ordered chicken wings with a spicy kick, which were crispy and full of flavor; the chicken napolitano, juicy and well-seasoned; and the shrimp and scallops dish, which featured fresh seafood paired with a delicious sauce. Each dish was not only tasty but also exceeded my expectations in presentation.

Without a doubt, Porch Restaurant & Pub is a place I would recommend to anyone looking for good food in a charming environment. I can't wait to return and explore more...
