Myself, wife and friends went here for lunch we ordered a burder deluxe, turkey cuban, hot roast beef on a roll, and a Philly cheese steak. The Philly cheese and turkey Ruben were fine and decent size for the price, the burger deluxe was a burger with fries, no lettuce, tomatoes, onion rings etc, my hot roast beef special was skimpy and lacked gravy, I wanted to like the place but found it to be very dirty. The menu was sticky and our friend brought that to the attention of the waitress, she did apologize, the salt shaker had some sort of food stain on the side, the worst was two flies on the above hanging light that was dirty "corner table, back left", my wife used the woman's room and noticed a dirty kitchen and bathroom, If you are just looking for a cheap meal and do not mind the lack of basic cleaning this may be for you, we will not go back. The last thing was as we paid the bill I mentioned to a woman looked to be in her 20's, glasses, Caucasian that the flies on the lamp were constantly going towards our food and her reply was she was aware and they cleaned the light and its just the way it is. This is an honest...

DISHONEST. I understand that times are tough but there has to be limits. And have given them a pass on the significantly slower and lower level of service currently. However, I can not let it slide that they are not keeping their commitments to the community while profiting off advertisement. It has been a long standing tradition for the PTN in Jackson schools to sell the Rt9 discount card as a fundraiser and I buy one every year. It allows exposure and advertisement for business and offers discounts to customers. The Mug Rack in Jackson has long been listed as a participant each year. The brand new card came out this year and they elected to be on it again, yet I went in, ate, and then went to the cash register there was a sign only visible when you are paying that they are not accepting any discounts. I though maybe this is old or not applying to the brand new ad that just went out, but when I complained it was just dismissed. Very disappointed customer and...

We have been going to the mug rack for years. Today a Sunday we went for breakfast it was crowded. We walked in and saw an empty booth. My husband asked a waitress if we could sit there she said yes. There was no one else ahead of us or waiting. Now I am disabled and use a walker and my husband is a Vietnam vet. A lady came over and tossed the menus on the table and asked what we wanted to drink. She came back and took our orders. Stating that on the weekends you have to check in. You can’t just seat yourself. And that we were lucky?!? As she was tapping the menus in the table. Obviously we haven’t been there on the weekends. Just week days. As I watched her be happy and polite to other customers I realized it was just us she had a problem with. My husband told her about the waitress telling us we could sit and she said they was her job. Anyway under our circumstances I thought she would have been more respectful. After years of going there we will not be...

The food was so delicious that we couldn’t even wait to take a photo. The best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had, and the chocolate chip pancakes are out of this world. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make this place more than just a restaurant — it’s a truly enjoyable experience that you want to repeat. Plus, it’s quite affordable for the quality of the place, which is definitely a big plus. We’ll definitely be back whenever we can! We tried: • Chocolate chip pancakes • Eggs Benedict • Meatloaf platter

Typical old school diner. It was close to a soccer competition so popped in for brunch. We ordered grilled cheese w/tomato n bacon, chicken salad club sandwich and sausage egg cheese on a roll. Food came out quick and portions are generous. Grilled cheese n egg sandwich was awesome 5/5. Chicken salad was good too, but uncomfortable to eat at times. Very pleasant experience and will eat here again if I am in town. Won’t get chicken salad next time. Good old school vibes, very reasonably priced.

Typical American diner with a slightly dated interior. The food was par for the course without a standout but was seasoned and cooked well without any issues. Being family owned it's nice to see it continuing in that vein. There is definitely the feeling of local hometown pride in the establishment.
