Bumpers Drive-In of America — Restaurant in Jackson

We were passing through on the way to New Orleans and we're pretty hungry because we'd been on the road for about 7 hours. I saw this online and it was kind of on the way so we decided to give it a try. It's in a bit of a rougher side of town which we didn't realize once we made the trek off the highway but that was fine. The prices online must have been really old because they were significantly different then the prices that were marked on the Drive-In menu boards. We ordered meals for five separate people which took a while to make as should be expected as this is all made to order. When we got our drinks however, we only got four out of the five drinks and it was impossible to catch the waitress as she just kept running by our car. When we finally caught her she actually argued with a saying that she had brought all the drinks and we had to physically show her the drink tray with only four drinks in it. We were definitely out of place and on the wrong side of town but we decided to stay and eat our meals before getting back on the road. Bumpers is kind of like a Sonic but with extra added goodies which I thought looked very appealing, but I would have to say that most of the food was pretty bland with no salt. I used to eat at bumpers all the time when I lived in that area 20 years ago. Boye how did 8t all change. To my surprise they still had biggie bag special except it now cost nearly $20. The burgers were warm, not hot. Apple pies are about half the size they used to be. The burger pattie is thin, about 1/8" thick. The atmosphere? The town looks like a ghost town that was bombed. I went to the one in mendenhall I got my food after thirty minutes then I gave my card to them I waited a another thirty minutes to get my card back I called and talked to corporate man he said he would would send me and my family some free food coupons to eat on him but it never came I called him back to let him know I didn't get it he said he would call me back but he never called me back now no one is answer the phone I ended up getting wrote up at work because of this I keep telling the carhop I need them to hurry up with my card they keep telling me there having trouble with...
