No. 1 China Buffet: The drive-thru experience. Because sometimes, a girl just wants her crab rangoons without having to question her life choices in a parking lot. Let me tell you, the food here is so good, it's a crime it's not served on a silver platter... or at least in a neighborhood that doesn't make you wonder if you're about to witness a car chase. Pulled up, grabbed my grub, and zoomed off before the local wildlife could even wave hello. The convenience of not having to walk into a place that feels like a 'choose your own adventure' novel for your car's suspension is chef's kiss. So yeah, great food, questionable zip code, but thankfully, a drive-thru that lets you enjoy the former while avoiding the latter. Today I ordered pepper chicken, and got sesame chicken with a couple of onion and green bell pepper slices. After the first mistake, I thought ok, everybody makes mistakes...but twice in a row? I was the only person in the resteraunt on a Monday afternoon. Nothing fancy, but overall decent food and quiet atmosphere.
