I visited this coffee shop with the intention of enjoying a quiet space to write and was initially very pleased with the atmosphere. It felt like a place designed for reading and studying, with books available and a calm environment. Unfortunately, my experience was cut short when a man carrying guitars came in and slammed a chair directly behind me in a way that felt intentionally intimidating. Shortly after, I was informed by staff that they were unaware a band would be practicing there and that no performance was scheduled. Read moreI love this place and hadn't been in awhile. My boyfriend and I decided to visit after a long moving day. I do want to say that our barista was lovely and the service was fast.
HOWEVER
I believe that the quality in the food items have went down. I have been a barista before and I am shocked to say that my coffee was burnt. No flavor at all Our banana nut muffin was disgusting. It just tasted bland. I felt so embarrassed for hyping this place up to be a disappointment for both of us. I probably won't return and it makes me sad that my favorite coffee shop is going...
Read moreGreat lattes. I would recommend the dark chocolate and raspberry latte. Adequate space for sitting down and enjoying a book or getting some work done. Fast wifi as well. There's even a separate room for a more intense study session or a large group. And they have an amazing collection of used books for sale. I repeat, amazing. Both in terms of variety and in terms of price. The only little drawback is lack of parking space. Some street parking and a makeshift parking lot behind the store, can become a little problem...
