Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Jackson

I am from Las Vegas nv. I was not expecting too much since I know that no where could compare to what I am use to. One, the people are not friendly. You say thank you! No response, you have to wait for your check which felt like forever. Two, I had ordered tacos, who could mess up tacos right? The place can! They did not ask if I wanted hard shell or soft shell, so I assumed I would be receiving hard shell, nope I was wrong. The only thing that was in these tacos were meat, nothing else. But the portion sizes was the most disappointing part of all. If I wanted to order of from the kids menu I would have. Not even a spoon full of rice. I will never return to this place again! Btw not all white people...

My family and I were in Jackson, Al for their annual Fall Festival and decided to eat here. The service was good and the staff friendly. However, the food was not great and was over priced. My wife and I each ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla with a side of rice. We also ordered cheese dip and guacamole and 2 sweet teas. The quesadillas were mainly cheese with very little chicken. The cheese was not completely melted and the whole quesadilla was about room temperature. The rice was also about the same and was very clumpy. After all that the bill was $37 before tip, and yes we did leave a tip because our server was good. The reason for the higher price is everything...

The restaurant had a bad oder when I arrived. I sat down and got chips but had to ask the waiter for salsa about 5 minutes later. I ordered Taco salad...by far the worst I have ever tried to eat. It was filled with soupy beans in the bottom, wet lettuce, chicken that had been soaked in some type of sauce. The bottom of the Taco Salad shell was leaking so bad the plate under it was filled with brown greasy water! I tried 3 bites and truly thought I was going to throw up! NEVER again! Worst Mexican restaurant...
