I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights for a family gathering, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. On the first night of our stay, a member of housekeeping knocked on our door and asked if we would like service. We declined, as we usually do at other hotels. Typically, housekeepers keep a log noting which rooms want service and which do not. However, about thirty minutes after the housekeeper left, the "housekeeper inspector" barged into our room while we were inside, claiming she was there to inspect the work of the housekeeper. After explaining that we had already declined service and that it was inappropriate for her to enter our room unannounced, she blamed us for not having the "Do Not Disturb" sign displayed. Not once did she take accountability. This situation was also brought to the hotel clerk as well. On the second night, I woke up to find that my bed was infested with bed bugs. I had bites all over my arms, and my sister, who was sharing the room with me, experienced the same issue (attached are the pictures of my bites). When we brought this matter to the attention of the hotel clerk, Alisha, her response was defensive and unhelpful. It was very disheartening to see such an immature and unprofessional attitude from someone representing the hotel. I expected a much better level of service and care from a reputable establishment. I left this situation feeling as if I was seen as invaluable patron -- as if my issues were a bother and did not really matter. I am usually not one to write reviews however, I believe that this issue needs to be address swiftly and be known. I hope the management takes serious steps to address these issues and improve their customer service.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Hotel in Jackson, AL, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The first major issue occurred with housekeeping. The housekeeping staff displayed a complete lack of respect for privacy. Despite my loud and clear shout of "hold on," the housekeeper barged into the room without waiting, claiming to inspect after we had already received what we needed from another housekeeping staff. This complete disregard for privacy is unacceptable and deeply unsettling. However, the real nightmare began when my sister and I woke up covered in bedbug bites. We had red, itchy welts all over our bodies, and it was clear that the room was infested. When I reported the issue to the front desk worker, Alisha, I was shocked by the dismissive and disrespectful response I received. Instead of addressing the problem with urgency and concern, she brushed off my complaints. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of empathy is unacceptable, especially when it comes to the health and well-being of guests. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The management clearly does not prioritize cleanliness or customer service. Save yourself the trouble and find accommodation elsewhere.

I stay here when I'm in Jackson, AL because of the Hilton brand. I think it is over priced for Jackson. The fringe would not close and ice had build up, but they replaced it and left a note apologizing. The sheets on the bed were very nasty, dirty, filthy, took pictures and a video. It almost looked like a dye, because it stained my pajamas. Didn't see it until after I had slept on those sheets. I hope I don't get some disease from it. I did bring it to the attention of housekeeping and the front desk. The sheets were changed.

DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!

LETS START OFF BY SAYING I'M A DIAMOND MEMBER!!! This hotel is run by rude people especially the GM Marion Keith!!!! She personally (while on the phone with me) booked 3 rooms for me and 2 other family members. When we arrived at the hotel we asked to meet her personally which was a mistake!!! The lady at the front desk acted like she was more interested in the conversation with a relative on the phone. Once she finished up her phone call we told her we had reservations and would like to meet Marion. The lady walked into the back to get her and right before Marion walked out she started berating an employee (who ran out a side door crying hysterically) which shocked us to a severe degree!! Marion comes out of the back looking flustered and introduces herself to me and my mother then starts talking about how shes from Birmingham and how backwards Jackson Alabama is compared to there. How theres nothing here, how she has to drive for a hour just to get her nails or hair done, and how people from Jackson has no class. This is a insult as myself and my family are originally from Jackson. The manner in which she conducted herself was very inappropriate, unacceptable, and deplorable!! Her customer service (for the lack of a better word) just pure stunk!! We did not stay any of the nights we booked and will not stay ever again until this lady is no longer at the property. This is unacceptable of a Hampton Inn!! We canceled our reservations on the spot and were still charged full price on the rooms I will tell my family and friends not to recommend nor stay at this hotel. This attitude and behaviour is not acceptable!! If it was possible I would give it 0 stars.

Sharron...
