Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Jackson

I was welcomed by drive through,she spoke clearly,ask me if I wanted a shake or blizzard with my desired candy,size and repeated it back to me ask me if I would like to get some chicken strips or onion rings to go with my treat, gave me my total, and it did take a few seconds longer than most drive through 5 or 6. But when she gave me my Blast I was so pleased. The ice cream was heavenly. Not to hard to break the spoon and not any melting that I would have to sip like soup. I enjoyed spoon after spoon filled with snickers all the way to my house minimum 35min away and it was still holding up. This was truly the best ice cream I've had in year's! If others took the time to make it right and had the equipment's to have such creamery, temperature, candy amount that you can actually taste in every bite including the bottom, and this was the first time I have ever received a large and it was very large and I felt like I got well my money's worth! Ok I only gave 4 stars because they were not busy at all when I went through, so I cannot really say anything on speed of service. It was quick for me, but as I said, I was the only one there.

So I ordered 2 sausage breakfast burritos, with Baja cheese sauce and no tortilla. Told them I wanted both in a bowl. Order was exact as I ask for and very good.

I see allot of complaints on here about the service received, once again I cannot speak about it when busy, but the woman who waited on me in the drive-thru this morning was INCREDIBLY nice. She double checked my order when I got up to the window to ensure she heard me clearly about putting them in a bowl, She had a smile on her face the entire time we were discussing(even tho she was wearing a mask, you could still tell she was smiling). I ask her if they still sold bags of ice and she said yes then went and grabbed an empty bag so she could let me know how many pounds it was.

STORY TIME!

We pull up and order. 2 corn dogs, a slush, and a medium tot. We wait. And wait. And wait. About 30 minutes later a girl comes to our car

Her: ‘um, what y’all order?’ Us: repeats order Her: ‘oh, we thought y’all had pulled off’

• oooooookay. She goes back in and about 15 minutes she brings our food out.

Her: ‘my manger said y’all ain’t order no tots, you gone have to press the button and order them so they can get rang in’

(I would think after everything they could throw in some tots if that was the case)

Us: ‘No, don’t worry about it’ Her: ‘It’s gone be $3:40’ We give her a $10 bill, she goes inside and returns with change..... She gives me $3.11 back.

Me: This is only $3.11 Her: *takes the 11 cents and gives me 60 cents.

I’m looking confused. Like this is still only $3.60.

Her: ‘yeah, you gave me a 10!’

$3.60 + $3.40 DOESN’T = $10!!!

So to sum it up, we won’t be back. Horrible horrible horrible service and no one ever...
