Our recent visit to Applebee’s Grill + Bar in Jacksonville, FL, was an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere made our evening truly memorable.

The steak was served with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, both of which were excellent accompaniments. I guess let’s start here.. my husband said to the lady on the way to the bathroom when we first arrived said hello how are you and her response was can’t wait until midnight 😂well safe to say when he heard that we should of probably just left then instead of ordering knowing it couldn’t of been too good.. after being seated pretty fast the host he’s a sweetheart and amazing even got our drinks for us since he saw we were waiting for well over 15-20 minutes without seeing a waiter so that was really appreciated and super sweet of him 💕🤞🏽 then we finally order some food safe to say we waited well over 45 minutes maybe a hour for our food. My cheese sticks were cold ! 😂 like not a they weren’t cooked thoroughly cold but a they were cooked probably perfect but got left sitting for over 20 minutes cold.. very sad and disappointing.. my husband finally got his burger and onion rings what a joke man he ordered it medium it was way past well done and cold? 😂like okay but the BUNNN MANNNN WHEN I SAY WE BOTH GRABBED A KNIFE AND WHACKEEDDDD AT THE BUN LIKE 5 -6 times EACH 😂the bun didn’t even budge like barely made a crack or gouge I literally sat there and carved with my acrylic nail in the bun HARD ASF AND YOU COULD READ IT ! 😂that hard even the waiter said wow that’s crazy we even asked for a replacement bun that took about 15-20 minutes to even get for a already cold burger didn’t get as much as a offer to replace or remake it nothing I didn’t even touch my food just my cold cheese sticks waiting for them to atleast get my husband a new bun that was edible you know so we could atleast eat together I mean it is my birthday it’s really the at the least all I wanted was a nice HOT MEAL WITH HIM PRIOR TO THE NEXT 15 hours we’re going to spend driving in the car with no food 😂but hey f it I guess 66$ down the drain for nothing for food I’m literally going to feed to my DOG the next 15 hours I should of just went to Waffle House.. thanks Applebees it’s been awful we will not be back 😂🤞🏽 sincerely a sad birthday girl that just simply wanted a hot meal to eat with her husband.. didn’t know that was too much to ask for I guess even for my birthday I should of just cooked for us instead truly is sad .. mind you the whole time we were waiting it wasn’t even pack maybe 10 total people /5 tables and we literally just sat there watching out waiter hanging out by the bar I guess she was that miserable to go home that she truly just wanted to make everybody else’s night miserable and after finally getting the bun replaced we asked the the check immediately and containers so we could just leave at that point really eating nothing 😂 she came back asked if we wanted a bag for our 3 containers then left us waiting again for another 15 minutes still no bag at that point I left the money for the bill on the table grabbed our 3 containers and just left .. just ridiculous oh and I will be posting a picture of the bun .. you’ll know it when you see the word HARD ASF CARVED IN...

I am writing to share my recent experience at a restaurant which I believe may be of interest to you. I would like to provide you with a detailed account of my visit and highlight some areas of both satisfaction and concern.

The restaurant in question had an inviting atmosphere, and the employees were friendly and accommodating, which contributed significantly to my overall enjoyment. However, I was disappointed to find that the Cheetos buffalo wings were not available as an appetizer, despite my interest in ordering them. Nevertheless, I appreciated the restaurant's gesture of offering free refills and demonstrating common courtesy, which helped to mitigate my disappointment.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at the restaurant, and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the Tipsy Shark drink that was served. I also shared a pleasant conversation with Jenny, one of the employees, which added to the celebratory mood of the evening.

On one visit, however, I experienced a delay in the service, and my order took longer than expected. I had to go inside to place my order, and the process took more than 20 minutes, which was somewhat frustrating. I ordered four meals, including a burger, onion rings, and a separate side of ribs and French fries. While the fries did not match the quality of Bono's, they were still decent.

I also encountered an issue with my previous order, which took a while to resolve and ended up costing me extra. I believe this was due to a misunderstanding, but the manager's intervention helped resolve the issue, which I appreciated.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to others, although some minor improvements are necessary. Despite the setbacks, I would rate the restaurant three stars for its excellent atmosphere, friendly employees, and delicious food.

Finally, I would like to provide an update on my most recent visit on March 20th, 2024. My order amounted to $53.36 with tax. While I had to wait for 20-30 minutes for my order, and an extra 5-10 minutes to receive my change, Michael L. helped provide me with my receipt. Although the hack-back baby back ribs were unavailable, I was content with my order of two containers of chicken tenders with fries, two containers of cheeseburgers with fries, and two sides of onion rings.
