Very rude customer service. I drove up to menu board outside sat there for 3 to 4 minutes never heard anybody come on the speaker so I drive up to the actual window and there was a sign saying drive-thru closed. I don't understand why they didn't put a sign on the menu so you don't have to like sit there and wait.
I went inside first of all they're only taking cash which is okay and then I mentioned that they should have a sign outside on the menu and she said nope only on the window not on the sign. And I noticed all the customers that would come up to the sign had no idea that the drive-thru was closed. I suggested that they put cones up The lady said in a mean rude tone, we don't have cones. She said that's what it is, she's very rude she didn't care for my suggestions. I don't care if she didn't care about my suggestions but she didn't have to be a big snot about it. If you don't want people using your drive-thru at least put a sign on the menu so they don't have to drive all the way through to get to the exit window to find out that you're closed at least to find out that your drive-thru is closed. Very rude customer service if you don't want to be open then close your business. Not very business smart at all road customer service bad signage and don't even want to listen to a customer for suggestion. Just trying to help your business out. Sometimes people who own businesses don't realize what customers need unless someone gives them constructive feedback in a positive way. No need to be rude. it's obvious to me they don't want to serve customers and I can't believe the owners allow this kind of treatment towards the restaurant customers. do the people that are working at this Arby's realize that in order for them to get paid by the owners they actually have to sell something. Instead of providing horrible customer service. What a shame . They really give Arby's a bad name . No excuse for their actions, I bet they wouldn't want their family members to be spoken that way and in that tone. If the owners is reading this now please make some positive changes, you will see that if you do that you will get more business thus increasing your pocket. Time is money and you don't want people sitting at the drive-thru menu wondering if you're ever going to answer. we have no idea you're closed until we get to the window. I don't understand why you think it's okay for a customer to sit there 5 minutes waiting for someone and having no idea you're closed. I know you guys think your time is valuable but so are...
Read moreSo since I am a truck driver, I read and write reviews all over the country. I’ve been to this location before, showered and stayed here over night a few times. I’ve walked up the road to eat , or eaten out of my truck.. this time decided to try this Arby’s and ordered my usual, at Arby’s, a turkey gyro….. waited to have my order taken for a good few minutes while 3 employees chatted behind the back of the prep line…. One looked at me and went back to talking… he had the headset in so he was doing drive thru orders… fine, but at least he could have acknowledged me. So then I went and filled up MY drink glass with water, set it back down at my table with my shower bag and returned to the counter… then a previous employee came to the counter beside be and started chatting with the former coworkers and telling them that she was going to work Virginia and train people at a new but smaller store….. on and on and on…. I’m still standing there…. Finally a very vivid colors hair person comes out of the office and looks at me, like she knows why I’m there, and says nothing, so I said turkey gyro , she said $6.20 , I give her a $20 and she hands me back change…….. no other words exchanged. WTF???? I know I’m just a number….. then she disappears back in the office… the conversation beside me is still going on… 2 other employees come from behind the line and start talking more to the former employee…….. no one is working on my gyro…. 10 minutes I’ve been there……then someone says turkey…. And another one says oh I didn’t know we had an order, another one says me either until I walked out here……. They start my gyro… The shift leader says something to me and I say Ive been here for 15 minutes….. he said , really? I said well Maybe only 12, since I filled my water cup… he asked if I would like anything else, I said no just the gyro, he said he means like a milkshake or fries , since I’ve been waiting, I said no thank you, only the gyro please…:: I’m watching him make my gyro…. He said he’s going to give me extra turkey……… $$$ FOOD COST!!$$ I used to manage a restaurant… no biggie, then I watch the cook try to squeeze some of the liquid off the turkey…… Makes and rolled up my gyro and someone else bags it and said have a good day….. lots of juice coming off the gyro. It was very filling and warm and eatable…. Enough turkey for sure.. It was good…. Better service and attitudes needed here. But I’ve had better and I’ve had worse…. And do...
Read moreAfter receiving no service in the country pride restaurant at the TA trucks stop in Baldwin we walked over to the Arby's in the same building my fiance and I quite hungry from looking at houses all day placed our order. I asked for the Ruben sandwich meal and my fiance asked for a double roast beef sandwich. Both of us ask for curly fries, we were informed they were out of curly fries and it didn't have sauerkraut to go on the Ruben. So we settled for the crinkle cut fries, and I ordered a different sandwich. My fiance wanted sweet tea to which we had to tilt container forward, where she only got three quarters of a cup, and as we sat down I noticed two employees from the back coming forward to refill their cups with sweet tea also finding there was none neither employee took the container to the back to make any more. The fries were not even close to being full, we ate and listen to customers behind us wanting other things from the menu that they were out of, as well as the sweet tea it was a long wait time for everyone to order, but the food was promptly made, but with many menu items not available, I guess that...
