Baja California Grill — Restaurant in Jacksonville

The salsa great. Food was about an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. The staff is what I rate 10 for speed of service, but a 2 for their demeanor. When you walk in alone, they all look at you like you're a piece of meat. Not in there looking for a man. I'm in there to eat. So get over yourself. I'm single bc of goof balls just like you. The heavy set guy acts like you're a prospect. He even stood outside when I left one time and pretended to be on the phone, and loudly stated his name and his phone number when I walked by. Flattering, but I laughed all the way home bc of how comical it really was. Haha! Dude!! I'm old enough to be your Abuela mejo! I couldnt help but laugh. Needing that green card really bad huh? Awkward!! Last time I walked in, he lifted his head quick in that, come here mama, head gesture. I was like, are kidding me? Stop! Makes for awkward meal. Total lack of professionality displayed. They played around and joked around the whole time. No serious service. It like all their customers are jokes to them. It seemed obvious to me they were making guy jokes with each other about the cat and mouse attitude. Since I'm alone, I pick up on a lot more than people give me credit for. Then a real cute college guy came into work an they started harassing and following hom around. It was ridiculous how they hounded and tormented him. Get this straightened out and you'll have close to a 10 store, bc the food is good, the store is beautiful...

First time coming to this restaurant and never again.

Went to the bar tonight to have some drinks with friends and ordered a margarita. After about two sips I stated this drink tastes like it’s WATERED DOWN ????. I pushed it aside and told another bartender. About 5 minutes later I saw a bartender fill a GALLON pitcher 4 times WITH WATER 💦 😳 and pour into a JUG with the mixer of margarita mix. After we were done eating I asked for my check and saw the margarita was on my bill. I asked for it to be taken off she said no problem. When the manager asked why??? I walked up to explain why and he stated all liquor are FINAL SALE. I said I am sorry I am not paying for a 11.00 that was mostly WATER 💦. He threaten me that he going to CALL the cops over and over again if you don’t pay your bill. I said to him do what you need to do but I am not paying for it and I went to sit down. Then 5 minutes later he walked up to me and said I will correct your bill. I stated you do what is RIGHT and I will do the same. So, I am letting everyone know ALL margaritas at Baja’s are ALL WATERED DOWN and you as a customers are...

Came here a couple nights ago, sat at the bar because I was by myself. Service was absolutely horrible. Bartender didn't know how to make a Long Island, didn't ask me if I wanted corn or flour tortillas (yet asked the person sitting next to me which she wanted 5 minutes later), brought me flour tortillas with a meal that is traditionally eaten with corn tortillas, drink glass (water) sat empty for nearly my whole meal and did not get refilled even once. Just a bad experience. Decided to try again tonight. Walked in ahead of a group of 4 and a group of 7. Place was damn near empty. They told me that I would have to wait for a table, unless I wanted to sit at the bar. Nope. Not after last time. Same bartender was working. Didn't want bad service again. They told me that I would have to wait so that they could seat the two groups that walked in behind me. What a horrible establishment. Do not waste your time or money. Food was good, but the service was $h!t. Even the manager was there when they told me they wouldn't seat me. Fine. I'll take my business elsewhere. ...
