Went there for dessert. I tried some blueberry almond thing in a pie crust with a gelatin whipped topped. Disliked the whipped topping. They should use toasted almonda for the topping instead of just almonds. It was an aquired taste, not bad just not for me. Maybe if it was just out of the oven it would be good but it was refrigerated. 3 of us tried a lemon raspberry cake. I liked it but again it was refrigerated. I was either dry or maybe a day or 2 old because it was dry. Again probably better out the oven after sitting & icing/ decorating. The icing was sweet but it was not thick so i could appreciate it. The other 2 people felt similarly. My husband LOVED his nutter butter cookie. He was not fond of the lemon triangle tart or something. Too many mixed flavors. Maybe put less stuff in it. Blueberry muffin again just ok, maybe better fresh. The chocolate cake muffin my child found nt so interesting and he loves chocolate and to him this was weird. Maybe this place is more savory. I would definitely try their food as i do enjoy savory unlike my family. It does seem a bit pricey but i wouldn't mind trying their stuff fresh ir their foods before i decide if it's a complete no for some or all. It was a clean and quite place and the young lady at the...
Read moreUpon entering, I could tell we werenât welcomed. Normally Iâll walk out of an establishment based on initial customer service, but my kid really wanted to try a treat. We werenât greeted, but instead the people who walked in a minute or so behind us were greeted with a âWe can take you over here if youâre ready!â We ordered Death by Chocolate and a blueberry scone. My 12 year old became very self conscious while we waited awkwardly for our to go order and said maybe he shouldâve dressed better and we wouldâve been treated better. (Nope, the employeesâ customer service is just gross). I went to grab our order and the employee plopped it on the counter like a smelly sack of poop and walked away. The scone was like a dried, burnt blueberry biscuit, but the cake was decent. We are chocolate fanatics, but according to my kid, âthat chick must have transferred her hate into the food.â We will stick to buying from small shops that treat us with respect and like family. Itâs always the entitled America shops that...
Read moreWe hosted an event for high executives and I needed delicious pastries for breakfast. I drove around town based on the reviews I found. Was disappointed by many bakeriesâthey didnât have what I was looking for or it didnât taste good. Blueberry was my last stop and I was running out of time. I tried one of their croissant first. It was delicious so I ordered $160 worth of breakfast items for my event the next day: croissants, chocolate croissants, almond croissants, muffins, danish. The croissants and chocolate croissants were smaller than I expected but the almond croissants/muffins/danish were huge! They open at 630am and bake everything fresh in the morning. So I was able to pick up right at opening and made it back on time to the event location which was on the other side of town. Everything was delicious! People kept asking for the name of the bakery! The pastries were a big hit! They cater and I would absolutely...
