House of Stereo — Local services in Jacksonville

I am thrilled to have discovered House of Stereo ("HoS"). My dealings with them began when the amplifier to our home theatre on the main level of our home died and I was in search of a replacement. Having purchased Cambridge Audio ("CA") speakers for the home theatre in the basement, and being most happy with that purchase, I began looking for local dealers who were listed as CA dealers. I spoke with a few, left messages with a few more, and zero call-backs. I learned via the "grapevine" that the CA speakers I was interested in (MINX22) were no longer being sold in Canada. So, I searched for dealers in the U.S. Long story short, I found HoS as a listed dealer, watched a YouTube video on them, and spoke with Jasmin, the operations director. She was most upbeat and rather than taking my name and number, she put me on hold, contacted CA, and advised the speakers were in stock and I could get them. Happily, I bought them and waited. DHL delivered them a day or so ago and I did a quick connect. I played the “Tiger tank scene” in the movie Fury, and, man, does it ever sound crisp and thunderous!! What exceptional customer service! I called to see if House of Stereo had a specific set of speakers to demo. Not only did they have exactly what we were looking for, but Jasmine asked when we would be arriving so she could have it set up for us! Upon our arrival, Jasmine and Joe were welcoming, informative and inspiring with their thorough knowledge and awareness of our needs. They showed us around the place and let us enjoy a truly exquisite set up, before they showed us to the room with the speakers we requested and left us to chose familiar tracks and experience the speakers, giving us plenty of time to listen. After hearing our thoughts, they even quickly swapped out the speakers with another set so we could hear the difference before deciding.

Jasmine and Joe were always there when we needed them and gave us time to listen and discuss privately. They never rushed us and were always concerned with our satisfaction. Their pricing was spot on with what we could find online and we are thrilled to have purchased our new Triangle speakers from them. Without House of Stereo, I would not otherwise have had the knowledge -or chance in hell- to have found the right speaker/equipment combination without a great deal of error/time/extra expense.
