My significant other and I decided to try Cucinellas and we were blown away. I am not one to write many reviews but once in a while a truly wonderful experience entices me to.
Mr.Cucinella mentioned he is a 4th generational pizza maker passing down the craft from father to son for nearly 80 years. You can genuinely taste the finely tuned craft, you can feel the richness and depth cooked into these magical dishes. From the ingredients, which are beyond a freshness I have ever tasted, all the way to the techniques of creating and cooking this pie to perfection, which cannot be explained in words. Every aspect of Cucinellas was brilliant.
When we walked in, we were greeted warmly by Mr.Cucinella himself, he helped explain the menu to find what we really wanted. As he cooked we had a lovely conversation as I looked over the article written about him that he proudly presents on his counter top. Our order we finished in a very timely manner, and upon getting home to enjoy we have been thinking of nothing else to eat since. Eating pizza twice in a week may not be our usual, but Cucinellas is far from usual. Just a few days later we are back ready for the next :)
There is no scale fit for this food, so I give it 10 out of 5 stars ✨️...
Read moreTried it for the first time tonight. Ordered two 10" pizzas and cheesy bread. Ordered online and confirmation did not provide a pick-up time. When we arrived to pick it up, we were left waiting at the counter for more than 5 minutes without being greeted. When the young ladies finally emerged, the pizzas and bread were in a hot bag. When the employee went to get them out, a pizza box slid out and landed face down on the floor. They made another pizza, but we were stuck waiting. We were offered a half-hearted "sorry" but no discount or discount should we return. The food: HORRIBLE. We had a thin crust and a hand-tossed. Both pizzas were not fully cooked, and the crusts were too thin to hold the toppings, turning each piece into a sloppy, chewy, undercooked mess. They failed to include marinara with the cheesy bread, and I suspect, cardboard may have more flavor. It will be our first and most certainly LAST time eating here. My suggestion? Eat here at your own risk or, slap some sauce and toppings on the Amazon box that arrived at your door today and eat that - again, probably more flavorful. P.S. I was unable to choose "zero" stars, but if I could, I would. I do...
Read moreThis place was pretty bad.
They made multiple mistakes with our order. We almost got served a steak pizza when we ordered plain cheese...but luckily they were out of steak, so crisis averted. I ordered a Greek salad, but instead was served a "triple meat" salad which I had to send back. Also ordered wings which was the only item that came as ordered.
The pizza tasted very similar to Costco pizza, but didn't cost only $10, like Costco pizza. (And honestly, Costco pizza would rank higher than theirs)
The Greek salad I can't complain too much about. It did have roccota cheese instead of feta which was...odd...but not horrible.
The wings were the worst item. They had zero sauce on them, and they fell apart very easily. The only time I've experienced wings that do this, is when they sit in my fridge too long as left overs, and I reheat them in the microwave. They certainly were not of the type of quality that commands over $1 per wing. I would take Tyson frozen wings from Walmart over eating Zoners wings again.
The tipping point that provoked me to write the review, is that I was still charged for the triple meat salad instead of the Greek,...
