Dewey's — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I love going to Dewy's...every Friday night, 6-10pm, they have DJ Tom T who is not only a great singer, but also makes karaoke singing so much fun. But, then again, there are a lot of great singers at Dewey's!! And, the 3rd Friday of the month is Family Night, when they have the balloon artist!! :-) Great for the kids, and the kids in all of us!! You will be amazed at these balloon creations...truly. Good selections are something for everyone! You can get alcohol here, though you do not see people getting intoxicated. Perfect place for our service members who live on, or off, base, along with retirees. Out is a family atmosphete, until 9pm, then it is still family oriented...so, cone on out!! And, remember the wait staff - they are airways smiling, attentive, and nit only is out service with a smile, shine of them, like JoJo can really belt out a tune, too!! And if you like line dancing, well, you will get to enjoy this as well. Need I say more?!? Come on base, at NAS-JAX...And make your way to Dewey's. They have other events at Dewey's, too. Bingo, with big pots, is another favorite, which pays out really large winnings...so there's another activity you can try. I love going to Dewey's!! I go on Friday nights, as they have karaoke with DJ Tom T...who is always great at hosting the karaoke show, and he is an awesome singer himself! The staff is great, they all become your friends. :-) They have a good menu, with specials, which are reasonably priced. It is a nice environment of people who love to sing, and everyone is like family and good friends!! The food is good grub, but some of us need bigger portions. Especially in situations where I only got a sausage patty and a scoop of eggs with three French toast sticks, I ask for extra as a young man growing 6’2 185lb and I can’t get an extra something?
