Time for an update. Can I give them 7-Stars?!? We eat here at least twice a week. The staff is a sterling example of good hiring, never had a bad meal or experience. The folks working here are lovely and extremely hard workers. Wife and I feel like Dolces is our second dining room.
We've pretty much enjoyed every item from their menu and everything is a great choice. Friday night Braciole is awesome (photo attached), Clams over Linguine (according to my father) was the perfect balance of garlic and other flavors and clams were great, Chicken Marsala is probably the best I've had... Again everything is great just calling out some standouts. The food is a reflection of the owners, lots of passion goes into each meal going out!
Excellent food and location. We feel like home when we dine here. Literally everything on the menu is great and they use fresh ingredients. The restaurant is always clean, even when they're busy. This is my favorite pizza place in Mandarin and probably also my favorite in all of Jacksonville. Since I moved to St. Johns, I can no longer call for delivery but I'll still place orders for take-out. The pizza's great as well as the deals. I like ordering my pizza well-done, but that's just me (try it -- the extra crispiness really enhances the experience).
The pasta meals, sandwiches, and calzones are also great. The Mediterranean calzone might be the best thing on the menu, but it's so much cheese so proceed with caution XD. I also frequently order the chicken parm sandwich and the meatball parm sandwich. I'm pretty sure they bake the bread in house -- regardless it's delicious. My wife and toddler are partial to the ravioli dinners which comes in good, healthy portions (adult and kid orders respectively).
When I don't take-out, I dine in. You can't beat $2 drafts. The dining area is a pretty good size (I wouldn't host a party much bigger than 10-12 personally). Friendly staff.

This a favorite restaurant. We've been ordering from this wonderful place since they opened. PIZZA Their pizza is delicious and the sauce has exactly the right amount of garlic. The pizza is baked to the crispy perfection I adore. I love their marinara sauce because it's not full of garlic and onions. PASTA So far I have tried their eggplant parmigiana, chicken parmigiana, chicken alfredo, pasta primavera and lasagna. They're all so good it would be hard to choose if I had to make a list of favorites it would be last. This is due to a spice (fennel) I dislike but it was otherwise yummy. SANDWICHES The only one I've had is meatball and it was very good. Seriously good meatballs. DESSERT Tira Masu cake, best I've ever tasted.
If I had a criticism it would be that the garlic bread's rarely crispy enough for my taste. Sometimes I forget to ask for "extra crispy"...
