Was told and escorted to take an amplifier to a booth with an outlet by an employee to test it for purchase, while testing the amp, a female walked over and very loudly said “who are these boys in my booth” and began creating a disturbance. I advised the lady that an employee brought us here to test an amplifier so I could purchase it, she kept talking over me and ignoring what I was saying as she repetitively yelled “get out of my booth” furthermore creating a disturbance. An un-informed different employee walks over and tells us we need to leave the store immediately with out the knowledge of what actually was going on. As I collected the amp that was very heavy and brought it to where I found it , the employee begins yelling at me, stating that I needed to give her the amp, I tried telling her that it was extremely heavy and that I did not want her to drop it as it was in a hard to reach location. She refused to listen and attempted to grab me. I gave her the amp and left the store where I told the manger what happened in full detail. Two customers walked out and told the manger as well that the lady who has the booth to the right of the desk with the jewelry, instigated the whole interaction and was nothing but vicious and rude, and so was the employee that was there as well. It’s very unfortunate there are people like this in our society that would say the things she said and demonize me because I look “like a boy” according to vendor. As someone who serves this state as a first responder and who makes sacrifices every day to keep people safe, it saddens me that this is how I’m treated when all I was doing was just making sure an amp works. After I was given clear instruction to use the power outlet in that booth. May God bless the lady that started this incident and bring peace to her days. And to the two customers that witnessed what happened and had our backs, I appreciate you two very much.
I’m closing , all that lady needed to do was ask what we’re doing and if it was an issue, to politely ask us to relocate, not create a major disturbance...
Read moreI was actually planning to go to several antique places over this weekend, with this being my first stop. I've never been here before, but having read these most current reviews from the past couple months, I will never spend any money here. Setting aside my personal beliefs and politics, this is not how you run a business, especially when you have several vendors under 1 roof who more than likely have ALL different opinions. You as an owner should really think about your vendors before you put your personal opinion and belief first. Your in business to make money, not alienate specific people customers. Like the previous post said, you should be ashamed of yourselfs for bullying an elderly woman for wearing mask, you have no idea how much she would have been willing to spend. You have no idea how much all the others you have alienated , including myself, were willing to spend either. BTW, I don't wear a mask if you're thinking I do. Not that I need to justify anything to a couple of Karens, I just don't feel the need to bully people who chose to wear one, because it hurts me NONE and affects me NONE. Getcthya...
Read moreMy mom and I visited on 1-13-22 and were asked to lock our purses up in a very antiquated locker system. We we’re not allowed to carry purses in the store. I was uncomfortable with this policy because I keep migraine medicine that I sometimes need to have instant access to the meds. As we started walking through we noticed that many of the items are very overpriced. Almost insulting to see that items were priced higher than can be purchased in a local retail store. It was a significant difference. Also at checkout I was purchasing a $9 item and was told unless I had cash then I would need to keep shopping until I reached $10. I left without purchasing anything. On principle, I was not going to buy a candy cane next to the register just to hit $10. Maybe guests should be notified of this policy when we lock our purses away. I wouldn’t waste my time shopping here. It’s messy and overpriced. There are several other great options in Jacksonville that I would...
