This place is authentic and the real deal. It was genuinely the best sesame chicken I've ever had. It was crispy in the best way. The sauce for the chicken was thick, but still drippy and not that congealed orange you see from most Chinese places. The yum sauce was surprisingly thick and at first I was put off, but the flavor was wonderful and made it spread farther than I expected. I impulse purchased a sweet tea. That was okay, more lemony than sweet. But the star of the show was truly the food. It was declious and I will definitely be back. The food isn't dirt cheap but it's enough for two meals if you order a combination plate and with the quality of my order, I'm satisfied.
There's also cute little keychains and knickknacks that are available for cash only.
A man complained to me after he finished ordering about how straight to the point they were and that the woman ringing up his order was a "drill sergeant" and I completely ignored him because he didn't see how irritating him or his questions were. The bottom line is these people aren't going to kiss your behind if you show it or put all their teeth on display for you. It's not a chain restaurant and it's privately ownedâthey don't have to. The food speaks for itself and there's a reason why the brief time I was in there waiting on my food that the phone was ringing off of the hook.

Read moreWe regularly go here but hadn't been in a couple months. Decided today ww were in the mood for some Chinese food. Ordered our usual lunch specials plus egg drop soup and honey wings. Came home excited for lunch until we started actually eating it. The egg drop soup was a congealed, food coloring added nightmare. It went straight in the trash. Our egg rolls, which are normally my favorite thing from there, were undercooked and doughy tasting. They went in the trash also. The hubs chicken was overcooked and hard as a rock in his General Tsos meal and my chicken & broccoli tasted nothing like it usually does. The sauce acted like it had way to much cornstarch in it. Very thick and no flavor. The wings were overcooked and barely chewable. We waited over 20 minutes for this garbage. I don't know what has changed here but we won't be back. Waste of $30 and a tip. Don't waste...
Read moreOur go to Chinese spot! We live in Wallace now (about 45 minutes away) and we still make the drive to get takeout from here. Service is quick & food is always hot and delicious. I remember when Jacksonville had China Garden, and this place compares to that so much for me. Pricing isnt bad either we typically get 3 combination plates, 2 orders of wings, 2 orders of Teriyaki chicken and spend about $60. We love it and will continue making the drive to get our Chinese from here. No other place...
