This experience makes it very easy to understand why many hardees are going under and bankrupt. I pull up to the restaurant and see a large window sign that says $5.99 bag, so I go to the drive throug to order. When i pull up I also see the digital ad displaying the $5.99 bag deal they have. So, i proceed to tell the guy "I would like yo try the $5.99 bag" he then replies which items do you want and I said the double cheeseburgers with no onion and light ketchup please and told him what drink i wanted. My first impression was that he sounded miserable or stoned or could be both. Then he tells me to drive around. I drive around and he tells me my order is $7.54, I handed my card but then I realized that didn't add up with a 7% sales tax. So I asked him and he said it was $6.99, so I let him know the sign in the window and the digital ad says otherwise and he may want to let his manager know. He looks back at the sign on the window and says oh yea and thats it. Then he asked me to pull forward and he will bring the order out. About 4 mins later he brings me my food and I pull away. The fries were hot but when I open the sandwiches they had ketchup all on the top and spilling out the sides. Then I had a piece of onion hanging on the side. So I opened the burgers up and you can clearly see they scrapped the onions and ketchup off an already made burger. The burger was room temperature! It clearly was old and instead of making a burger to order based on the customers preference, they scrapped off an old one. I obviously am missed and I didn't bother to eat it because who knows how long that burger sat somewhere. It wasn't under a heat lamp or it would have been hotter than what I got. I had already drove off and was about to get on the highway near the restaurant. This is a clear example of why this company is failing and has closed many of their restaurants around town. Poor management, poor staffing, lack of care and poor procedures. Had this been one of those workers who was using their hard earned money to buy food and got this, they would also have been pissed but the fact that they think this is OK to do to others is the reason why businesses fail. Pathetic! I'm sure no one from their company will respond to this complaint probably because it's become a normal experience...
Read moreYesterday morning, a dear Senior neighbor of 94 years of age, legally blind and on a walker, was verbally harassed and humiliated by two employees at this location. After eating a Hardee's breakfast out in his friend's truck, he had an urgency to go to the restroom. Knowing his Senior buddy had just been in the restaurant to wash his hands in the bathroom, there was no doubt in his mind he could go. Were there to have been a sign on the bathroom door, he would not have been able to see it. In any case, the door was unlocked and he was able to slowly enter in with his walker. However, after having unbuckled his pants, a female employee walks in agitated and tells him he is not allowed to use the restroom. When he insists it is an urgency, she does not relent and brings in another larger male employee to make him leave. Sadly and disturbingly, he wets and soils himself on the way home and has to painstakingly wash himself when he gets home. This is a sweet, elderly man who lost his wife of over 60 years just a few years ago, who lives alone and who was supporting Hardee's while finding comfort in the company of a lifelong friend (Who he goes out with every week for breakfast). Whether or not he was breaking any rules, he was not treated with decency or given an exception for his age, physical condition and for this delicate, private matter. In this age of COVID-19, can we still somehow maintain a sense of humanity and kindness and know when to bend the rules a little? Had he at least been treated with dignity and respect, that could have lightened the blow of the aftermath. It is questionable if businesses like this should...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting this location (8/24/24). After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I attempted to place a lunch order. The cashier Andrew told me that it was 1056 AM and lunch would start at 11 AM. I returned a minute or two after 11 AM and was told by Andrew they haven't started lunch yet. I asked the man a simple question "What time will you be starting lunch?" This unhinged nut job literally SCREAMS "I DON'T KNOW MA'AM, I'M JUST A CASHIER" and called out to the employees working in the kitchen for "someone to come deal with this lady." An equally rude female employee came to the counter and said they won't be starting lunch for another 20 minutes. Under normal circumstances, I would've left but I was starving and really needed some food. I returned to the counter 20 minutes later and was met with even more hostility by Andrew. I placed my lunch order and left. Unfortunately the burgers were inedible and I ended up throwing them in the trash after almost an hour of waiting. In addition to being incredibly rude and dealing with a long wait time, a few customers had to return to the counter to inform Andrew that multiple items were missing from their order. While he did give them their missing items, he offered no apologies to the inconvenienced customers. Andrew is clearly a loose cannon and cannot be trusted to work with the public. If he hates his job this much then he should quit or be terminated. Customers shouldn't be subjected to his bad attitude and temper tantrums. Worse Hardee's location I've...
