KFC — Restaurant in Jacksonville

The drive-thru employee for ticket #1 738 on 05.16.2018, was purposely dismissive and unapologetic. I waited 5 mintues AT THE SPEAKER to place my order. Then I was told it would be 5 minutes wait to make the wedges. Then waited 5 minutes to get to the window to pay for order. Then told I couldn't wait in the drive thru for the order to be completed because I was on HER timer. I politely refused to pull to parking lot. Which needs more lighting. My $5 fill up came with 2 legs instead of leg and thigh. Waited at the window at least 3 more minutes for her to acknowledge I was still there. As a male employee at the counter kept giving her the eye that I was still there. She set up at least 5 completed drinks in the window (in front of me) before acknowledging me. When I told her my issue she let me know it wasn't her fault because she didn't pack it. Then told someone in the back. She took my wrong order back through the window. Swapped out the wrong leg for a thigh and thrust the same box back to me. I said thank you as she closed the window in my face and moved on.

Normally, I come to this location and my experience is very pleasant. There's a day manager there that is always so nice she almost makes you want to circle thru twice just for the experience. I've lived near here nearly 4 years. Never once had a bad experience until now.

I have a large family and usually spend considerably more on my visits. This particular time I only had this small order. Which wasn't worth the effort of common courtesy for this...

I am utterly appalled and compelled to write this review after witnessing a shocking disregard for basic hygiene practices at the （8033 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221 ）KFC store. It is beyond understanding how staff, in this day and age, especially within a food service context, can directly handle food with bare hands right after handling cash. Seeing an employee, without gloves, use one hand to take money from a customer and then immediately use the other to manipulate fried chicken, merely ‘assisted’ by a clip, was distressing.

This behavior is not only grossly unsanitary but also shows a blatant lack of respect for food safety regulations and, most importantly, customer health. It’s alarming to think about the cross-contamination risks involved, particularly in a fast-food restaurant chain that serves thousands daily.

I urge the management of this KFC location to immediately address these hygiene practices by enforcing strict glove use and hand hygiene protocols among all staff members. Failure to do so not only compromises the health of your customers but also the reputation of your brand. I expect better from an establishment of your stature and am deeply disappointed by this experience. Immediate actions are necessary to restore any semblance of trust in your hygiene standards.

I ordered a 12 peace family on normandy in jacksonville. I requested 1 large sweet tea. Simple. That wasn't good enough. Would you like a large or a half gallon. I hesitated. Then said a large sweet tea. All of a sudden i get attitude. I knew to drive off and not deal with "They're" obvious prejudice. Yes I'm white. Sure enough i get the food $42.00.Our 3 large sides were all mashed potatoes. These white haters put one inch of gravey in each of 3 containers. Then shook the containers to put gravey on the lids to make the containers look full. Try to call. They won't answer. All because they made me repeat myself. Didn't take much to put they're hate in action. Everybody..Just do Popeyes. At least they're out to please the customers. No blatent prejudice. Your going down the tubes KFC. Thats why your parking lot is always empty. You can't keep up with the competition with haters ruining your legacy. Now that ive had time to recall the order, when i said my sides were 3 large mashed potatoes the young lady said something like a ohoo. perhaps she knew they were low on gravey.I fed my family flavorless plain mashed potatoes for $42.00. The chicken was really good. but you did'nt keep your end of the bargain. My family did'nt get what we ordered. How about making some form of concession as a sign...
