I went to Popeyes on Normandy & Fouraker on Tuesday & after this I’m pretty much done. I order the 10 piece special which came with 2 large sides & 5 biscuits. I specifically asked for all wings when I placed the order, get’s to the window to pay for my order & I noticed to young lady putting other pieces in the box & not wings. I assumed that was not my order. Then she came to hand me the order I saw her prepare. I advised her I asked for all wings then was told it was a 15 minute wait (I was told that when I placed the order there would be a 15 minute wait which I agreed to wait) so that was the first of the problem. Then when I told her I asked for all wings she said she didn’t know that & 2nd time I was told it would be a 15 minute wait & she asked me to pull up. I sat in the car with my family (my disabled mother included) for 15 minutes then the manager came out to the car & asked me what was I waiting for I told him all wings for the 10 piece special, red beans & rice & Cajun rice & a large tea. 3rd time the manager said he didn’t know that he was unaware I wanted a special order & there was a 15 minute wait ok now we’re down to like 45 minutes worth of wait time & I finally got the order to get home & there was mashed potatoes in the bag for a side. My daughter called which I was unaware that she called & the manager who was working that night told her if she come back he would give her a red beans & rice. I called the next day & that same manager who my daughter spoke with answered the phone. I advised him who I was from the previous night & asked him if getting a red beans was my only option he told me no in a rude manner. I think this Popeyes like to give their customers the pieces of chicken they want them to have & not what the customers request that’s problem no. 1. Also, I feel like he could have made some type of exception being he was the manager who was there when this whole mix up happened & I waited all that time for my order & was not even offered a courtesy drink. They always get customers orders wrong & do not value nor appreciate their customers. I’ve also read other customers complaints about this location. I live on Normandy & have a family of 5 & we spend quite a few $’s when we eat there. I will ride by them from here on out!! They just lost 5 customers!! I AM DONE!! I completely see why this location is at like 3 stars they should be a 1 & shut down!! There’s another Popeyes on Normandy who probably serves & value their customers a whole lot better than...
Read moreI placed an order through the app which has a time to select, my time I selected was 25 min from time I places the order. (I live about 8 min away) I waited so they would have the full time to get my food ready. I also had a free pie choice which I chose. I get to the restaurant, pull up to the window and give the girl my order #. She looks at me like I've lost my mind, turns to another employee and then they go over to the printer box that sends out orders and there is a trail of order tickets. They pull mine off, then tell me it will be 7 minutes for the pie...ummmmm had you been doing your job that pie would've been ready (is what I wanted to tell her). I said ok what about fries instead, she said ok. We get our 10 PC Meal....get home, we have 1 breast, 2 thighs, 1 leg and 6 wings. Again, had they done their job to check the printer they would have had ample time to cook and give me my CORRECT order. And no they were not busy, yes they usually are steady but not this time...and that is why I chose the 25min time slot, that should be plenty of time even when busy. I don't expect perfection but I do expect good and this experience was the lowest rating I could give. Ohhhh and the thighs were over dry, not sure how that happens as I thought they had timers on their fryers, maybe it was chicken that had been sitting?? Read more04/01/23 order#619 5:32 PM Drive through I like this location and never had an issue until today the drive through young lady very rude had an attitude all because I questioned what special they had she clearly said geehse..sigh..and said look woman then she never came back then another lady came on and was ok but you can tell they talked about me. I commented on how rude both girls were and for this over price chicken I can really take my business elsewhere. $32.24 is basically groceries. Just wanted to say the service and the manager need an overhaul. The workers are a product of the management. Because the Popeye 103rd has ellecent service and food guess that explains why they stay busy from open to close. But the one I just gave 1 star 8007 Normandy Blvd #152-0405 need to retrain their staff before someone gets hurt. Nowadays time is hard and people are on edge and the last thing they need is a customer service employee disrespectful nasty, rude, unprofessional, uneducated attitude. If i could give a zero I would. Top it off the service is always slow the drive through hardly works and through all of this I never minded the obstacles because the food is always fresh and hot and the order is always on point. These young kids needs to be taught to be nice when folks are spending almost $50 for chicken and 2 sides, which really isn't a family meal at all the sides are enough for 2 grown folks only not a family...
