Had to take the time to say. Highly disappointed and wouldn't bother with the hassle of bad attitudes & cheap scales off balance. I walked in asked for 2lbs shrimp got a stink eye by both ladies for no reason other then maybe they were arguing with themselves before I walked up. I politely tried to watch as she quickly add shrimp but I couldn't see the weight & didn't show me any weight as she finished & very quickly added ice wrapped in Newspaper and walked away then looked at me like "What?" even Gave me a real funny look? I was standing there like should I go grab it I just paid she said "Oh I'm sorry I guess u want me to hand your bag to you?" I replied "No thanks its OK Ive got 2hands also". I walked over to her work station about 10ft away from me and grabbed my bag said have a good day not one replied with Thanks for the business or anything. 10mins later got home the wife before I could say anything about the experience grabbed the shrimp said " I thought u were getting 2lbs because this isn't enough?" I agreed and said maybe they stiffed us or their scale is off but thats what I paid for. These were week old and mostly Bait shrimp I would barely call Large more like mediums & smalls with a couple large sprinkled in barely worth hassling with the skins. With a frown on both our faces we said its time to make an honest review. Im sure they've had good shrimp if u get them fresh but I'd never take another chance to find that out when there is Sooo many other vendors in the area have fresher quality, bigger size, good scales, & happy to enjoy your business. Never have i ever had a bad experience here you will find the best selection and the widest variety of seafood in the state!! Not to mention under new management and the manangement is awesome!! The most realist honest down to 🌎 and dependable people in tbe industry. And didnt i mention the best priced and best bang for your buck? I mean the list just goes on so much so i dont knwo where to stop. From bait to the grill or however u like it cooked they even have the seasonings to go with it i mean really? This has been my hubby's childhood place!!! His family has been getting Shrimp here for over 55 years and we are continuing the tradition. We drive 3+ hours to get here for their shrimp!!!! Fresh and caught right!!!!! We get heads on!!!! Perfect!!! Have a home at Cape San Blas Florida...have shrimp there too but these are definitely different and absolutely Delicious!!!!!!!!
