Overtime Sports Bar — Restaurant in Jacksonville

My previous (5 Star) review is listed at the bottom, I felt it necessary to update this review as I have been several times and over the past few months since this bar has changed ownership the service has changed significantly.

Went in for lunch and the waitress (DeeJay? Older woman with pink and blonde hair) was downright rude. She was too busy watching TV to actually tend the bar or make any food. The guy from the Drive through sat there and watched as she watched TV and didn't even say anything about me wanting food or that my drinks were empty.

From October of 2015: (5/5 Stars) Day staff is beyond wonderful. Always great with the regulars and the new customers. I didn't catch her name but she has short hair and a rockin' attitude. She's funny and keeps the customers coming back for more.

If you have golds, dark skin, and dreads you are going to be automatically turned around at the door! I didn’t want to believe this, but I seen it first hand! They say if you are a regular we don’t card you or your friends (this is said buy the guy with the thick glasses who drink everyone’s drinks who leave them unattended )??? Seriously??? You should card everyone! They say the ATF out??? Lol smh I seen 3 other people come in and no ID was needed!...

Place has reeaally, really turned a page. The staff, the ambiance, caliber of patrons... hell they're now doing the hands down best wings in NEFL coupled with some of the nicest & most attentative service from the new bar staff!?... one of Jax's best kept secrets. Just hope that as they grow in popularity, they can keep up with the already growing demand....
