Visit their restaurant every other month. Reasonably priced and food is normally good for low sodium like diets. It's not a full seasoned mouth watering southern dishes. This I feel, should be good for anyone concerned about their sodium intake. I enjoyed it. Disappointedly, this time I didnt. I ordered a turkey dinner with yellow rice, greens and cabbage. I normally enjoy it all for a couple days. This time the rice appeared to be going bad and greens were gritty. I only ate half of the cabbage and most of the turkey. I was hungry. I was disappointed because I wanted the whole experience I thought about that evening. I wanted to try again to finish eating the next evening. Tried but got the same results. I decided to call and get a replacement meal, they were willing only to replaced what was bad. Which should be reasonable if I was sitting at the restaurant and I complained about it on the spot. This is when you switch out the items in questioned then all is well. When you finally get home, and finally settled down for the evening you are tired, want to relax, and hungry. So you start to dig in, but the food is not at all good. You will eat what you can, but the whole experience is lost. Most times if the establishment wasn't close, you may have driven back over and have it replaced or refunded. This is not great because you dont live close, and would be a major inconvenience. You are still desiring the whole meal experience which you paid for and you can't get it. So a replacement meal means just so, and entire meal should be replaced, especially if half or more wasn't eaten due to unsatisfying reasons, it was spoiled! Really, gritty greens and spoil rice, you should Immediately, to regain the customers trust and respect to the your establishment, bringing the customers experience back to satisfactory, APOLOGIZE!!! YOU THROW OUT THE WHOLE MEAL, REPLACE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE AND MEAL FOR A NEW ONE. Confidence now is Restored. They will even Rave if you threw in a dessert, extra side even a drink for their inconvenience.
Good customer service to patrons or customers is satisfying them 100%. This will determine the success of a business. Bad reviews kills. Dont try to justify anything, or feel insulted with an explanation. Just Apologize, acknowledge and recognize their concerns or experience and create a small compensation for their inconvenience with more apologies. I normally will give your business a second chance to recoup an error. Due to my experience, lost of my whole meal experience, and their replacement policies, I wont be back. I should get my money back, but will cut my lost. There are other and better Soul Food Restaurants. Once again, Good customer service to patrons or customers us doing your best in giving them a 100% satisfying experience. This will determines the success of your business. Bad...
Read moreI went to this location on a recommendation from a friend. When I walked in I did feel a little funny. The place was very small.I believe it had 2 or 3 tables to eat at so I assumed people take their food to grow. I ordered smoother turkey wing rice dressing yams peas and okra and potato salad.I ordered some extra food so I could try their taste. The food was really good. I checked my food before I left." "People please always check your food no matter what. If you're in a drive through the people behind is just going to have to wait or have the cashier show you your food". I really like this food and the staff were nice. I hate I live in Arlington because i dont know any soulfood places. If any one know one please let me know. I like this soulfood and if im every on this side of town again I will support the restaurant. But remember you need to make sure your customers are happy. So any attitude talking back silliness arguing and messing up on order is not tolerated. That's why I tell everyone to check their food before leaving. And the restaurant must do their part and realize they need the support of the community especially blacks people. We want to support black business but they have to take...
Read moreOrdered by phone for lunch special "pick two items", with fries, cole slaw and a drink, for 8.99.Got there in 10 min as they said it would be ready in 10 min, give or take, ok no problem, got there, food wasn't ready, heard staff in the back stating," now you been here all this time and you didn't know wings had to be dropped?" I heard the lady that took my order go and ask for the wings and shrimp for Dee, and that's when the gentleman made that remark. So I waited for another 5-10 min for my order to finally come up, for some wings that weren't fully cooked, they/he just threw them wings in the fryer for the bare minimum time, because they forgot to drop the damn wings?!? The lady again at the counter, forgot to give me my drink, had to remind her about that, and needless to say, they dont have diet products for drinks, so dont ask for that. Had sweet tea, was not good at all, to me. Everything was SOGGY, FROM FRIES TO SHRIMP TO WINGS! On top of that, they forgot my Cole slaw, and basically food was just not cooked properly! I would NOT recommend this place by any means! Go to Mr. Snappers. You'll get what you actually pay for, which is properly...
