Vino Volo — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Keegan decided to change the tip amount on the receipt. The fact that Vino Volo allows us to happen is going to cause some issues. It’s not about the money it’s about the principal. I will be seeking legal action. When I tip four dollars and they change it to nine to make it a little bit more for themselves is unacceptable.

I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. Keegan will lose his job or I will raise hell.

As for the response from the management- this was NOT a mistake. This was theft from a paying customer who indeed intended to pay 20% tip. You don’t make a “mistake” by reading $25.50 and thinking “oops I read $30”. Also, the 4 and 9 are not transposed on a key pad. If it was a 4 vs. 5 or a 2 vs. 8, I’d understand. Again, this was pre meditated and wrong! This is why customers are beginning to NOT tip. Because employees are doing this and stealing from hard working...

Went here for breakfast before a business trip. Food and service was great. I end up leaving my work laptop…I board a flight and end up being without my computer for two days. The staff immediately put my laptop in a secured place and the manager , Eric, reached out to me to inform me they have my laptop. Not only did Eric keep in touch to see when my flight landed, he stayed after hours when I flew home late at night to ensure he gave me my laptop. Not only does this place have a great atmosphere and food, the people are amazing. Eric even refused money that I offered several times I wanted to tip him for going above and beyond....

I am giving a lower rated than I normally would - because after a sale of the business they are now charging $1 for a glass of tap water. In context - we have now had 7 glasses of wine and two of the food dishes. We are not trying to take a table and only order water! I don’t believe I have ever been charged for tao water in Florida. I don’t see any justification for charging for tap water! A waiter told us it is the policy of the new owners. I hope they see this feedback. We have a history of always swinging by Vino Volo before a flight … but honestly this policy is repellent enough we may not...
