Waffle House — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I walked in and the whole crew was hanging out talking. Finally after about 10 minutes one of the girls came up and took my order. She wrote it on her ticket and set it down for the cook, which was not there. I said, I see I have some time to go smoke a cigarette so I went out and smoked a cigarette that takes about 5 to 6 minutes. I come back and still no one is cooking my meal they’re all still standing around talking and the girl that took my order is having a problem with someone personally on her phone, I asked another person working there if there was even a cook there and she said let me take care of it for you so she did except for my meal is cooked all wrong. I wanted over medium eggs and I can share a picture with you there was nothing even close to Ronnie in these eggs very very dry just like my waffle was undercooked . My sausage was overcooked and my toast is barely even toast and I could just cry because I look forward to this meal tonight I haven’t been there in a while and I always look forward to going there once in a blue moon this crew sucks someone needs to...

Came in at 5am traveling with my service dog and my friend from Miami Beach. Before I even stepped in the door they told me I was not allowed to have my dog. It was night shift workers with disgusting attitudes, no care for the laws, and they won’t even allow you to call their number. You can’t speak with anyone here over the phone. VERY NASTY ATTITUDES. Don’t recommend at all. Stay AWAY from this location. I’ve never been this irritated with any other restaurant in the food industry and I work at a very fine dining type of feel and even those places accept service dogs. ALL PLACES ARE REQUIRED BY LAW. No way to contact anyone regarding this so I came here to let everyone know firsthand. Only eat here if you have to. Any other location is better than this one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. I was traveling early in the morning with no where open to eat at, and I couldn’t even come in and sit down. THE BEST WAFFLE HOUSE YOU COULD EVER GO TO! The employees are so fun and friendly! Finished out a long night full of drinks at our local Waffle House and the staff kept us entertained, as well as bringing our food out fast and keeping the drinks filled up before they could even get half empty. That’s great service, for sure. They all deserve a raise. The people working were awesome in every way. The food was delicious, everything was incredibly clean, and the employees working were the true definition of service with a smile. We will be back, most definitely. They got every order right, the first time. No problems at all with our orders or with the actual service. Seriously. I didn’t get the names but everyone working the shift of 9/4 from 11:30pm to 9/5 12:30 am deserves a raise and a ton of recognition. They’re amazing.
