On Feb 16th My Girlfriend went in line at 09:35 and put her order at 09:45 with a nice lady at the cashier. ( 507 Tammy/ Check 2982).She order a 20 oz Chai Tea Latte ($9.35) and a Blueberry Muffin ($5.24), Tax $1.24, Total:$15.83 ( Paid)
About 10 min later at 09:55, a short Tan lady said order for Michelle , so I went to the counter to grab a cup she just set on the counter. She was quick to tell me "This is not your Order" She then pointed to a different order on the counter, so I grabbed the 20 OZ Chai Tea. I then asked her if I could please get the BlueBerry Muffin as well. She responded: " There is no BlueBerry Muffin"
I figured she is busy or is tired and is probably making a mistake or I could be wrong with my claim so to be fair, I asked her whether she can provide me the receipt because I knew the receipt will show whether or not there is a Muffin with this order.
To my request for a receipt, this short tan Babbs Coffee House employee told me: " I don't have a receipt"
So I proceeded to call my girlfriend to explain to her what was going on and confirm that she indeed ordered a Blueberry Muffin.
She confirmed she did.
I reported back to this short tan Babbs Coffee House employee that there is indeed an order of BlueBerry Muffin.
She then went to the Cashier and printed a receipt and could see the Muffin listed. She then handed me the Muffin and I left with both orders.
It pains me to leave such review because my girlfriend enjoyed her meal but the tone / attitude of this short tan Babbs Coffee House employee who refused to acknowledge an order of BlueBerry muffin was included, who then refused to provide me a receipt which would have confirmed both orders, to the point where I had to call my girlfriend to confirm this and report back, is the reason for...

However this has improved as well. *original review When this place opened it was my go to place. Linen napkins, excellent service and food. Now...coffees/lattes are still the best in town. However, staff is always turning over so it never fails there is someone at the till who says they're new and takes forever to get an order. Place is dirty. With two other tables full, I had to bus the table I wanted to sit at and that dirtiness sat where I left it the whole time I was there. The place where I was seated had enough food on the floor under my feet that I probably could have made another snack out of it and someone's hair tie was lying there. The linen has been replaced by cheap paper napkins rolled and taped with scotch tape. Oh and the food today? It was evident they were scrambling to find the oatmeal and nuts offered. This used to be served beautifully on a plate with fresh cream, nuts, cranberries etc. A bowl was plopped down and I had to ask (a second time) for brown sugar and went hunting for the 1/2 and 1/2 container at the coffee condiments to complete my breakfast. Read moreI ordered a grilled chicken tender sandwich with bacon called “the seahawk”. I received some Horrible fried chicken tender sandwich that was nothing like described. No bacon, no grilled chicken, no chilis, nothing. I waited 45 minutes for it. Then was told they cannot refund. Only a gift card, but i don’t live in town
So now I am an hour less down the road, without any food I ordered or desired and 20 Dollars short. Truly the most horrible customer service and restaurant experience I have ever experienced in my 36 years of being alive.

Ok in response - i ordered at 2:18 I didn’t leave till what, 3:20 Thats an hour give or take. So i have no idea what 20 minutes means.
The other lady, bless her, did try to correct the mistake. She was nice as can be and apologized. Her efforts were noticed.
The 1 star is for you, the management, refusing refunds, looking at times and cameras and still being completely wrong, and instead of saying yah we apologize we messed up, taking the time to try to nitpick my story.
As i said worst customer service i have ever received in my entire life. You backed that up with your response. Tell the lady who works for you thanks for trying to correct the horrific situation.
