Shady's Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Jamestown

Went there for supper it was not good. We were greeted nicely told we could sit anywhere. Waitress came over seemed frazzled no menus asked if we wanted regular menus. We asked for a high chair the one she brought wobbled so bad I refused to put my 3 yr old in. She brought a different one that was slightly better. Order food was told the special after we ordered and that some items were out which was okay would of been nice to be told before we ordered. Our food came out with other people she dropped their off then ours. Asked for other food after 5 mins. Food was cooked fries were good. Waited to see the waitress again to get our bill. Walked over to the bar to ask was told she has the whole dining room. Which was 3 other tables with all their food one gentleman even went to the bar to get a refill of his drink. Andrea is amazing to work with! She took a lot of the stress out of planning our wedding reception. However, the table clothes had large fold creases in them which looked tacky. I wish we would have had time to steam them or run them through the hotel dryer. Guests also complained that their food was cold and the servers were rude. We were also under the impression that we had 2 full kegs for the night. I asked if that would be enough for the night and was told it would. We found out DURING our reception that we had 2 mini kegs and they take them away after the meal starts. That was very upsetting since we told several guests that we had 2 kegs for the night. We had our daughter's wedding reception at the Gladstone Inn and we were very pleased with the service we received. They had an excellent choice of meals to choose from. We chose to use buffett with ham and roast beef. Everyone raved about the great meal! You could cut your beef with a fork it was so tender! The tablecloths, linens, and chair covers were clean and in good condition. We would give a good recommendation for others to use...
