Milwaukee street pizza — Restaurant in Janesville

Update: They offered me 10% off my next order, via spam text. 🤣 🤣 🤣 I’m good, fast food pizza is more consistent than this place. The only thing this place is consistent on is serving hot liquified ranch, which is definitely a food safety concern.

When I first moved into this neighborhood 4 years ago, this place was AMAZING!!! But the last few times the pizza has been over the top greasy, floppy and UNDERCOOKED. I can’t do doughy pizza! I’m not ordering Papa Muphs here, I shouldn’t have to put my pizza back in the oven at home AFTER ORDERING MY PIZZAS WELL DONE/EXTRA CRIPSY! Last night I even confirmed on the phone TWICE, “okay, you got those well done/extra crispy, right?” They said yes and it’d be there in 50 mins. It arrived in 35 mins. Why are you guys always so rushed to take the pizzas out of the oven!?! I spent over $50 and tipped! I’m done! I tried complaining through a survey they sent me and they responded with, “Thank you for the positive review” since when does the “😐” this emoji mean good/happy!? The survey was 3 emojis to rate your experience; 😡, 😐 and 😁… that’s stupid. Because when I clicked the middle one because I wasn’t flipping out and yelling over it because things could be worse, it was like, “that you for the positive feedback! We love reviews, especially the good ones!” …like, what?! And no, it doesn’t let you go back. That’s why I’m on Google now because it was not a positive or good experience. AND THEY PUT THE PLASTIC SUFFLE CUP FULL OF RANCH ON TOP OF THE ONION RINGS RIGHT OUT OF THE FRYERS SO BY THE TIME MY ORDER WAS DELIVERED THE LID MELTED ONTO THE ONION RINGS AND THE RANCH WAS LIQUIFIED ALL OVER THE BOTTOM...

I have been here twice now as an out of town visitor, on the suggestions from friends that love this place and know they offer gluten free pizza. The dine in expirence was great. Fun, chill atmosphere, good and quick service. Nice menu options, and they also have alcohol and alcohol free option janfor drinks. Take out was quick and easy, greeted with a smile and helped quickly.

I can't speak for the regular pizza for taste, but my friends have lived in the area for 3 years now, and it's there go to place, driving 25 mins away when the pizza craving hits. The pizza always looks great, the bread order is a good size as well

Now, for the gluten free pizza. They have various sizes, which most places don't! I went with a small this last time, and was sad I didn't get a bigger size. It was one of the best gluten pizzas I've had anywhere! Perfectly cooked, the right amount of sauce. Kept it simple with just pepperoni. Nice and crisp, and not very greasy at all. HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking for good gluten free pizza!

Days later, back at home in a different state, I was craving this pizza, and had to settle for a chain spot. Can't wait for another visit! This place is a must have anytime...

Delicious vegan pizza in Janesville!

Vegan here! Was looking for some great vegan pizza and this is the spot.

I called in to place an order at Milwaukee Street Pizza, and my food was ready by the time I got there—quick and easy service.

They didn’t have the vegan taco pizza available (which I’ve heard is really good), so I ordered the vegan sausage and onion pizza instead. It was thin crust and cut into squares just how I like it. The flavor was delicious, with a little bit of spice that gave it a nice kick.

The staff was friendly, and the person who helped me at the counter was great—kind, fast, and professional. The space itself feels more bar-style, with a few tables and some seating. Not huge, but cozy and clean.

I didn’t order a drink, just picked up my pizza and left, but the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. Good vegan pizza is hard to find around here, and I’m really glad I gave this place a try.
