Schnickel Fritz Deli — Restaurant in Jasmine Estates

I eat here almost every day..its my gas station, Rima always uses the best products for her food, and the flavor is top-notch. Usually a short wait to get my Reuben because it is made fresh, and it's a popular place to get lunch. When half the county workers get food and drink here, plus several other local businesses order catering here...that says a lot about the quality. Also, if you have been around this area for a while, this IS the same restaurant that was in Gulf View Square Mall years ago, same owner...

Schnickel Fritz is located inside the Mobile gas station. It is the same deli that was located in the Gulfview Square Mall years ago. The Cuban is my favorite and the potato salad is absolutely amazing. It's what I get every time I stop by. I have also had the Italian sandwich which is just as awesome as the Cuban. They also have desserts, which are all so yummy. It's very hard to make up my mind when I go there. I wish they were closer to Spring Hill though. Wonder if they would let me open...

My bf got me a turkey blt club for me & they used the heel in the middle instead of getting a new loaf of bread to get a fresh piece of bread, the bacon is only on 1/2 the sandwich.... lettuce was ugly, they put pickles on it too... don't get me wrong, I love them but it's a blt... pickles should've been on the side. Needless to say, I'm not happy about this visit. I will try them again and hope for a better...
