I will start with the good: The food was good and cooked the way we ordered it. The bad: Service was an absolute nightmare. I stood waiting to be seated for 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Which I could understand if it was the weekend or the service was good. The lady that seated us was nice and polite. After 15 minutes of sitting there I had to flag a waiter down to take our drink order and we placed our food order too. 10 more minutes went by before our drinks were brought with no straws. We asked the waiter for straws and if they could bring us some biscuits. A few minutes later he comes back with no straws to tell us that they were done making biscuits. This was around 7:30pm. Then a waitress brought us cornbread and I asked was I supposed to eat cornbread with my breakfast I ordered and she explained that we would have to wait 15 minutes for biscuits and I told her what the waiter said about the biscuits. She said no that was wrong so I said I don’t mind waiting for biscuits. Also asked her for some straws. 10 minutes later she comes back without straws and says they aren’t making anymore biscuits. At this point I turn my coffee cup on its side because I haven’t had a refill yet. 20 minutes after we received our drinks we are finally given loose silverware, a stack of napkins and straws. After my coffee cup had sit there for 45 minutes on its side a waitress noticed it and asked did we need a refill? Yeah that would be good. Was my reply. Still no food. An hour and 15 minutes after placing our food order and still no food or check up by our waiter. Although we finally got a refill on coffee. Then I happen to see the waitress that confirmed they were not making biscuits anymore that night bring two plates of pipping hot biscuits to two other tables. So I spoke to the manager about the issues we were having and all of a sudden our food comes out, biscuits are put on the table along with cornbread. We never ordered cornbread at all. The only thing the manager kept saying was what do I need to do. Bring us our food we ordered over an hour ago. Didn’t want anything extra or anything free, just the food we ordered. I never got an explanation as to why our food was delayed or to why the service was sub par. Before you think oh they were busy or short staffed, they were not. Several staff members left and a lot of people left as well. Then other people arrived and had no problems. Never got another refill or checked on the rest of the night. I had to flag down another waitress the was super awesome and asked her if we could get our check and a box. She was very nice and made our waiter bring the check and a box. Apparently he doesn’t care or was not trained properly. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 3 children. Order was country boy breakfast, rare steak and over easy eggs, kids hamburger with steak fries, chicken strips with fries, grilled cheese, and fried chicken with available vegetables. Surely doesn’t take that long to cook. Complete lack of management at this location. I am curious as to why our order was held for 20 minutes before being given to the cooks? That’s what the check had on it when we received it. Also, why was everyone else given good service? It was like we didn’t exist. Will not be returning anytime soon. Edit: Went back last night and had a much better experience. Apparently some of the staffing has changed. It was service you would expect to have from Cracker Barrel. Liz was a great waitress who was very polite and helpful. She does a great job. I am still only giving three stars because of the poor service from last...

I have been to this location several times and the food is really good and so is the service. But, today was a different story. I placed my order and was asked if I wanted biscuits. At the time I didn't. As I almost finished the meal, I decided I wanted biscuits.
I looked around and my waitress was making small talk with another table for around ten minutes. I didn't want to continue eating without my biscuits and my food was getting cold. I used my phone and called a waitress to come to my table so I could get biscuits.
The biscuits were brought over, and then my waitress came over and started yelling. She said, "Did you just use your phone to get biscuits?!!" She had a really nasty tone. I said, yes I did. And she yelled, "Why, when I was standing right here?!!" I said, because you were with another table. And she yelled back again, "Yes, but I was standing right here!!" I said yes (a second time), but you were with another table.
I thought that would be the end of it, but oh no, she kept going on and on. My meal was already cold and what business of it was hers, what I did?? She wasn't available, so I found someone who was. She was going off on me like a redheaded stepchild. I told her I did not appreciate her tone and asked her to leave my table. She gave me a nasty look, rolled her eyes and walked off. She didn't apologize for making small talk with another table for ten minutes while I sat and waited.
You don't talk to your customers that way, PERIOD.
Then, when I was at the register paying for my food, I glanced over to my left and the manager was standing there. She was standing shoulder to shoulder with me, giving me a nasty look just like my waitress did. I said, can I help you? She said, "Yes you can." I said, are you going to bite my head off too? She gave me another nasty look. She said, "I had a talk with your waitress." The way she was acting and her body language, was as though I was being a difficult person. She said, you just have to excuse her (waitress) sometimes she gets excited-- making excuses for her.
It's funny how people these days flip the table. I said, well, I'm glad you're happy with the situation, but I'm not. Then, she (manager) bit the woman's head off that was ringing me up, for no reason. After paying, I immediately left and I don't know when...
Read more730PM. Saturday. Short wait for a table of 4. Not bad but just wait, there's more. Our server couldn't seem to get 1 out of the 4 orders correct while writing them. Had to correct her. TWICE. Then, we asked for the usual plate of biscuits and cornbread. It and drinks came out quick enough but she placed the jam on the table; no bowl or saucer to contain them. It gets worse. No silverware on the table makes it hard to spread the jam. No plate upon which to place your biscuit while eating it makes things awkward. No napkins to use makes things messy. So after 10 minutes of waiting, we finally flag down our server and ask for all of the beforementioned luxuries. Her response, "Do you need them?". As in 'now' or perhaps, but do you 'REALLY' need all that? Her attitude and demeanor then changed. QUEUE the replacement server. She walked up, stated WE seemed be having issues, at which time our party stated it's case. DUNKING BISCUITS IN THE JAM PACKAGING DOESN'T WORK; that's what flatware is for. EATING A BISCUIT OUT OF YOUR HAND IS LESS THAN OPTIMAL; napkins would have been nice. This is not my home, I can do that there, not here. Meanwhile, other tables seated after us were eating. Were also finishing and leaving. So, after about an hour, my party stands up and walks out of the dining area but while that's happening, the replacement server marches out, grub in hand. She literally shouts across the dining room that she has our food. Too late, we're headed to the registers to pay for the drinks and biscuits. The manager talks to us. Says he'll cover our meal. Says he'll make it right. I'm sure he would have but at that point, it wasn't about FREE anything. HE wasn't the one who destroyed the anticipated great meal with lousy service and attitude. It was about lack of service and disrespect in an establishment known for the exact opposite. All we wanted was silverware, napkins and saucers. Apparently, that was...
