Wait staff is excellent. Even with it being a busy Saturday morning, every time a customer came in they were greeted with a “good morning!” The waitress I had (I wish I remembered her name) was very courteous. She refilled my coffee when she noticed I was running low the few times before I was finally done, which is so hard to find these days. Even with a busy breakfast rush. She made sure I was taken care of. I was wearing a jacket with my name embroidered on it and when I checked out she said “was everything good mr. Young?” And honestly I thought that was very cool that she knew that much into the ways of customer service. I used to work at Publix before and we all know they’re known for excellent service. She’s definitely taken their playbook lol. All in all, food was great as usual, wait staff was very very professional, and it was just enjoyable. I’m only writing this review for this place because I’ve been to many waffle houses all over the south and this one really blew me away.
Now while I don’t remember the waitresses name who took care of me, I would say every staff member here should get a raise. They go...
Read moreHad breakfast here November 18th 2017. An elderly disabled couple came in 3 minutes before us. Couple seated in the corner had to wait to have their order taken and no one came back to the table. When the customer asked who their server was they were told shes outside. When asked to speak to the manager....told shes outside..no move was made to go get her. She also pointed out the old couple....no thank you for pointing them out. When the lady did address the manager she said I'm sorry it won't happen again. You had 9 females working and one male. 8 tabbles full. This shouldnt have happened. To make things worse two of the servers went up and gossiped with the manager as she relieved the cook about this. She encouraged the gossip and egged it on. We eat in waffle house across country. This one needs "outside" corprate to come in and observe. Your manager, Denise, is too familiar with her employees. Ande, the cook, should not be encouraged to gossip or make fun of anyone calling. No manager name, phone number or corporate number on their...
Read moreI'm a truck driver and we normally don't have that chance for a sit down eating place. I have never had an issue with any waffle house establishment until today 03/03/22. We sat at the table and instead of asking what we wanted to drink, the waitress didn't care about our drinks. It was what we wanted to eat. Then my co driver got his drink but not me, it was just a cup of coffee. We got our food and still no coffee. I had to speak up to a woman who was doing the cooking to get a cup of coffee. And for $2.25 a cup (w/refills) is expensive when you only get 1 cup of coffee. U less you ask. The waitress we had should go through some kind of training about customer service skills. Our whole time we were here no one asked how we were doing or if we needed anything. They had at least 5 waitresses up front a d no one acknowledged us. What a shame that this is how my dining...
