This is a great spot for some great food. It was my first time to try it. I recently moved back to my hometown. I have been meaning to get by there. So, today was the day.
I actually know the owner, Kelly, and her family. My parents grew up around them. So, I’m really glad that I’m able to write a good review. But, don’t let my knowing them be deterrence. I try to be very honest in these reviews.
I had the chicken dressing for my main entrée. Chicken dressing is a very southern dish. I’ve lived in about eight states, many of those outside the south. Most people for Thanksgiving will do a type of stuffing. I can’t stand stuffing since I’m very used to having chicken dressing. It’s a dish that has , gotten popular year-round. It was delicious. I was
I also had fried okra and deviled eggs. Both the sides were very tasty. I’m a sucker for fried okra. And I also enjoyed the deviled eggs. I look forward to trying more dishes when I go back, which I certainly will.
I also tried the spring rolls. They had kimchi in them. I actually make my own kimchi, for a minute for about four days. I really like the kimchi in these spring rolls. It added a unique flavor which you don’t always get other places.
It’s definitely a great spot to check out. It’s actually what used to be the Beville state cafeteria I believe. Again, haven’t been back in this area for...

Such unusual flavor combinations, textures, and quality ingredients left me desiring more. I am in the Events Industry and have dined at some of the best bistros in New York, Washington DC, and New Orleans and I find their masterful menu is comparable to any Michelin Star restaurant in these cities. One day i must travel back to Jasper and shake the hand of their Master Chef, to implore them to open in Birmingham, if not New York. Who would have thought the unassuming little city of Jasper Alabama hosting a bistro of...
Read moreThe food here was delicious! It was fresh and loaded with flavor. I didn't find out their story, if it's a farm-to-table type restaurant, but it's in that style. Lots of sandwiches, soups, daily specials, and the desserts looked amazing! I can vouch for the Cuban, fries, and potato soup. My wife loved the grilled turkey and cheese with homemade chips. Today was the second time I've had their food. The first time was when I had 5 Loaves cater for work. They fed nine people, all with different orders, and everyone loved it. The service was also wonderful, very friendly and attentive staff. If you're in Jasper for lunch this is where...
