Ladybugs Bakery & Deli — Restaurant in Jasper

1st visit today. Upon entering the place is very small. I noticed most people seemed to have called in their order for pickup. The place was hot and no fans were on. Lots of customers made it almost uncomfortable as there is no distraction while you wait, no TV or radio. Only 1 person taking orders upfront. The lady who took my order was nice but moves slow. The place was very disorganized, she had to walk to the back to tell cook the orders. The cook wasn't informed well enough on several orders and yelled out questions causing the only person upfront to stop and address the cook, this slowed the process down.

Ordered the hot dog combo with fries and tea to go. Waited 10 minutes. Fries were hot, plain not salted. Hot dog bun was toasted and crunchy. Hot dog seemed fresh and juicy. I was never served my tea but left anyway as I didn't want to wait any longer. Having not tried any other menu items and just based on my 1st impression I don't think I'll visit ladybugs again nor would I...

Our 1st visit here. Everything we had was very fresh - from bread to ingredients. We've seen Ladybugs as we've driven thru town- usually at hours they were closed.

My husband got the smooth chicken salad on wheat bread. Said he'd get it again - but he wants to try the other "flavors" -- a Hawaiian was mentioned that she'd be making next week and he said that sounded good!!

I had a Philly Cheese Steak. I have to say - it was the best one I've had around Jasper! I'd definitely have it again!!

Disappointed with soup. Cake tasted good but a little dry. Sandwich pimento tasted like shredded cheese in a bag from Walmart and bread was dry and thick. Sorry ya"ll but I didn't feel the love...
