Wow! This is a diners Drive ins and Dives type place. Local restaurant frequented by the farmers and residents of Jasper MO.
It’s got to be a real hometown secret. We rambled it on a whim. And we are glad we did. The breakfast was exceptional. And the conversation with all the folks was great.
Don’t come in here if you’re shy. The hometown crowd are super nice and they are gonna talk to you. Participate!! It will make your dining experience that much better.
We had a simple breakfast of Eggs hash brown and ham. And one pancake. Between my wife and I we could finish it. The pancakes are huge. The ham steak is delicious!
Great place with old time ambiance. Great food and nice people.
Bypass Loves truck stop and Go to Judy’s if you get off at the Jasper exit!
I think the total bill was $14.50. Can’t beat that!
I love finding these kinds of places. They have charm and nostalgia that is quickly disappearing...

Attracted by a couple signs that have seen better days on the interstate, this "blink and you'll miss it diner" will be left in the dust if not paid attention to.
Originally probably the OG trucker diner stop off the interstate in Jasper until Loves came in and bought the strip across the street from them, this place still has that old school diner feel. Building looks like its seen better days, interior looks like its straight from 1970-1980, and most importantly the restaurant is still 24/7.
Don't let any of this fool your hungry stomach with a menu that will surely satisfy any apitite. Breakfast to Dinner, everything is covered in your typical locally owned diner sytle of place. Key word of advise is to make sure you bring two empty stomachs instead of one, because WOW this place has...
Read moreDefinitely a go to for locals, but a good place to stop for a hearty affordable home cooked meal when passing through! Food was delicious, and service was excellent. The waitress was attentive, kind, and welcoming. All of the staff appeared to be this way. They were busy, most tables were occupied, and they never missed a beat, great service. The place is fairly clean, but it could use some improvements. Nothing that would turn us away from stopping there again. The bathroom wasn't in great shape. The toilet and sink were clean though, which is most important, but that bathroom needs repairs! That was the only thing I was a little put off by. If you don't like a busy atmosphere, this place is not for you. Lots of folks coming and going. We both had a meal, unsweet tea and water = $26. Honestly, we felt it was a good meal...
